I play lacrosse and have been playing for the past 4 years. I am pretty decent(probably 4th or 5th best on the freshman team.) There is another kid, let's call him John. John sucks. He sucks harder. Harder than your mom after she blows her child support money on crack. So we were practicing 2 on 1 ground balls. (2 offensive middies, one defensive middie) I was the defensive middie. So John is about to pick up the ball and I level him. Flat-out assrape. My coach tells me it was a good hit. I'm usually not that aggresive. John is laying on his back, when he starts to cry. I'm thinking 'is this guy serious.' He walks off the field and just quits for the rest of the day.
So after practice, I get home and take a shower, like usual. When I get out my mom is talking on the phone. i can tell she is angry. The conversation ends.
'So, I hear you have been picking on this john kid at practice'
'What?'
'His mom just called. He got home and he said he wanted to quit. She said you hit him really hard.'
'It's lacrosse. that's what you do.'
'Well you didn't have to be so rough'
I lift up my sleeve. My arm is covered in bruises.'yeah cause everyone takes it easy on me'
'well it's his first year'
'Mom. It is a violent sport. If he is babyed in practice what will he do when he gets in a game and gets rocked by a d-pole'
'His mom is very upset.'
'I don't care'
