I thouht i was funny, but it seems you dont.

No, I just don't remember it.

Plus that's quite the insane situation, even for a Futurama episode.

I've bought all four seasons of futurama at sam's club for a very good price.
Well, good for you. Damned Wal-Mart supporter. #;-}>
Have you ever been there it's great, i got each season for $15.99 each.

Yes, yes, I've been there. I have memberships at both Sam's Club and Costco, but I prefer to shop at the latter, because the profits don't feed the Wal-Mart beast there like they do at Sam's Club. Sadly, I have a Sam's Club within 2 miles of me, but the nearest Costco is more like 15 miles away (but there's a new one being built 3-4 miles away, woo hoo!).

I mean, we've got to have the disc somewhere, but... where? That's another matter.
I've got it right in foront of me if you ever need it.
You're offering to send me your season 3 disc 1, eh?
I guss i don't really need it.

... That's madness. Keep your disc, but thanks for the thought. Again, it's not lost forever, it's just... hiding.

It's the exact same as Sam's Club, only with a less oppressive corporation running it.

They carry slightly different product lines, and Costco only takes American Express (just like Sam's Club won't take it), but aside from those minor differences, they're both large, big-box, warehouse bulk-discount superstores.

So do I. Doesn't mean I've watched them all yet. #;-}>

I've seen almost all of seasons 1 and 2 from back when it was on FOX Sunday nights.

I think I stopped watching somewhere in season 3, and I haven't seen any of season 4 (except for the 1 or 2 eps I watched because I'd read about them on wikipedia and didn't want to wait until I got to them all in order).

And then... the lost disc incident struck.

Dude... See where I said "sure" up there, and you didn't reply to that part?

Look at what I said "sure" in response to that you asked. I already answered that same question.

because thay give out little peaces of stake every week.

Things were different back in 2006, too, I'm sure. But most of the damage had already been done by then. Things have been crap since 04 or 05, I think... but it's relative. It's different for different folks.

It's actually season 3, disc 1.

The one with the Amazonian womens and one of teh Santa eps. That's where my gf and I were, in trying to watch all the Futurama eps... I've wanted to continue our progress in the past months, but been able to as we hadn't finished all of those eps (which is why the disc had been out of the case prior to our apartment-to-apartment move)... ;_;

So, you've not lost disc four, but you've still not even seen the episode? And you've watched Bender's Big Score before this?!

I've mentioned more than once before that I was in the process of trying to watch every Futurama ep in order with my gf, and we had watched all of season 1 and 2, it turns out, even though both of us had probably seen 90% of the eps before... but years before...

And then we took a break near the start of season 3... the disc was misplaced... we couldn't find it... we looked... then we moved... we expected to find it while packing everything... we didn't... so... we're still stuck.

We could move on to the next disc of season 3, I suppose, but it would ruin the whole "in order" thing, yanno? I guess we should just watch the season 3 disc 1 eps on teh intrawebs and then get back to the DVDs. Maybe sometime soon. #;-}>

Dude... broadcast order differing from production order is pretty much the norm when it comes to TV series at one point or another. It's usually intentional on the part of producers, directors, writers, and/or creators.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Fut urama_episodes

As you can see from this episode list, which lists both the P number and B number (production vs. broadcast), that ever since episode 19 of the total 72 eps.... i.e. midway through season 2, the P and B numbers have often been off. In season 3, they started to really go all over the place, many eps being 2, 3, or 4 eps off from their production order... all mixed up and around, some early, some late... mixed in.

In fact, this listing shows A Leela of Her Own was produced #48... but aired #54.

So... yes, it appears Spanish Fry was produced #71 of 72, but aired #68, 3 early.

The real question is not whether production and broadcast order differed... because again, that happens all the time on all shows... the real question is whether the broadcast/aired order makes character development/plot development ALL FUXXED TO HELL.

So... does it?

And yes, I'm pretty sure it was, as I believe it happened while they were all in the stands to watch the blernsball game. I could be wrong, though.

Okay... looks here. I hate to level with you like this. I was gonna say this to Buster way up at the top where he said he likes Bender best, too.

Bender is teh greats, yes.

But I hate to break this to you... he's basically the unmarried, un-kids-having, robotic version of Homer Simpson 1000 years later.

I just think that Zoidberg is more original, has no direct antecedent in the Simpsons (which you have 0 DVDs of, after all, versus the 10 seasons of DVDs that Buster has, and thus I'd expect him to like the "direct copy" characters in Futrama plenty), and.... well, is underrated, too.

Well, seeing how people have taken over various lists in the past month and of course how Wylo has greatly expanded his Voting power list voer the last few updates, I thought that I'd give it a go now, seeing that we've got more than 150 users with 10,000+ Saves.

Nice to see the lists evolving, and it looks great, but now it's easier to aspire to, if only the improvements were made a couple of months ago :P

Well that's an ok total I guess, but considering I've got 757 points more and the list is about a week away, it's not THAT great, I've also noticed I've been Blamming alot more. But still saves is what counts in this thread :P

No problem, Shane. Come back in about 30 Hours and hopefully there will be update #10 :P

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

Well that's an ok total I guess, but considering I've got 757 points more and the list is about a week away, it's not THAT great, I've also noticed I've been Blamming alot more. But still saves is what counts in this thread :P

Good average over the month then. Should see you making some headway up the rankings. I know I've moved up a few places, but I'd like to see it confirmed ;)

I'm sure glad that you're not a moderator, because then Newgrounds really would have hit an all time low.

The rankings show the top 50, but if you'd have looked at the other 2 posts that I've added after the top 50, you would see that I've also shown users 51-150 there. I've also given detail of pacings for the month that each user is achieving.

There's more to stats than just numbers.

Looks like a fairly clear run into the top 100 now. My pace this month wasn't too amazing, but I'm getting back into the swing of things now. I think about 200 of those 340 saves were made over this past week, so expect a leap up from me next month ;P

Thanks again Coop!

No, no, no. (See my replies to gfox)

I really don't remember him, fill me in about this Koreaman.

170?

Dude... broadcast order differing from production order is pretty much the norm when it comes to TV series at one point or another. It's usually intentional on the part of producers, directors, writers, and/or creators.

They should keep it in the same order.

HAH-HA-HAH! HA-HAH-HA-HA-HAH!
.... was that a Mandark laugh??!?!

Holy shit.

Yes it was, actually.

Sometimes my gf does that laugh on purpose, and so I picked up the habit from her, even though I've only ever seen like 3 or 4 eps of Dexter's Lab.

I've seen more episodes of Dexter's Lab than you have. I used to be into the show, but not anymore.

Of course he is. Look at his BBS posts and you'll see how much of an epic poster he was.
Eh. Wotev'.

He wasn't cool enough to ever migrate here. So... he's dead to me.

...Damn you, gfox. koreaman was a fucking BBS legend. He needs to return.

That episode has to be one of the weakest episodes, but not THE weakest. That goes to I Dated a Robot. Besides the first five minutes of it, I never want to see that episode again.
Leela's blernsball ep is one of the weakest?!?!? Dude... that ain't right.

It is to me.

I think Bender is the greatest TV character ever. :)
Okay... looks here. I hate to level with you like this. I was gonna say this to Buster way up at the top where he said he likes Bender best, too.

Bender is teh greats, yes.

But I hate to break this to you... he's basically the unmarried, un-kids-having, robotic version of Homer Simpson 1000 years later.

Who's up for knocking on gfox's door with a mob?
