What Im noticing in the WWE and TNA is that they are trying to out do each other

At unbreakable was the 3way for the x division title (Best match ever)
at Taboo Tuseday was the 3 way for the wwe championship

at bound for glory was Iron man 2
at Survor Series was last man standing

At Genisis there was the x-divsion 8 man tag elimination
Survor Series was the elimination match

Just recently at Turning Point was Barbed Wire masacre
at Armagedan is hell in a cell

Now at NYR is the elimination chamber
how will TNA respond?

yes it is good. It reminds me of ECW in a lot of way, at least action wise. They focus more on matches and in ring stuff rather than storylines.

Lol any way its either going to be Cena,Kane,Carlito who win it i dont think HBK can do it. Its just too damn old i think hes in his mid 40s? And Masters if he won it he would loose it at next PPV. But i have my money on Carlito any one want to bet me? Lol

I still prefer watching WWE over TNA. I'm not sure why, exactly. I can't put my finger on the reason. It may be because of the characters, the size of the crowds, or the length of the shows. I can't decide the reason, no matter how much I think about it.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-12-15 22:21:04

Holy shit, that sucks! I dont like Samoa Joe. I hope AJ Styles beats his when they go at it again. Jeff Jarrett, the old fucker should just leave. I mean, he's a good vet, but he needs to leave and quit being the damn champ every fucking minute. ....Anyways, I hope that Carlito turns face and wins the WWE championship in the EC.

So, what matches are going to be at Armageddon? All I heard about was the Tag match between Rey and Batista vs. Big Show and Kane. Also that Hell in a Cell. So, what else is WWE offering?...Probably...NOTHING!

PS: I'm rewatching ECW One Night Stand. Who else is (at the time their posting)? God, this tape never gets old....

Same here, Uts probably because of the backstage stories. Its not that I dislike TNA (its actually quite enjoyable), I simply prfer WWE over TNA.

Sorry I haven't been here in a while. I just got off of what may well be the dumbest ban I have heard on Newgrounds. Anyway:

Y2J Signs Deal, RAW Rating Scores Big, Lots More Notes

Former WWE champion and Fozzy lead singer Chris Jericho has just signed a book deal to write his memoir. The book, called "A Lion's Tale," will focus on his formative years in the wrestling business.

The 12/12 edition of Raw posted hours of a 4.1 and 4.1, for a final cable rating on 4.1 with a 6.3 share.

AM Raw over the weekend scored a 0.6 rating, with a 1.6 share, according to Nielsen Media Research.

According to Bob Ryder, Judge Christopher F. Droney will hear arguments on the morning of January 3, 2006 in the WWE's request for a temporary injuction preventing Brock Lesnar from defending the IWGP title against Shinsuke Nakamura on January 4, 2006 at New Japan's Tokyo Dome show.

Several WWE wrestlers made the Celeb gossip column in Wednesday's Boston Globe: "The sushi bar at Kowloon was just about to close Monday when a gang of WWE wrestlers wandered in. Chowing at the raw bar after their Raw show at the TD Banknorth Garden were Edge, Chavo Guerrero Jr., and divas Victoria and Lita. Opting for the steak and sesame chicken were Davari, Tyson Tomko, Trevor Murdoch, Greg Helms, Shelton Benjamin, and Viscera...

Styles Injured, Former Diva Doing Porn, More News

From ROH Boards...Sorry for the bad news but AJ Styles has canceled his booking for this Saturday due to a busted lip that needed seven stitches from the Samoa Joe match at the PPV. Sorry for the lineup change.

Tylene Buck who appeared briefly in WCW as "Major Gunns" is now doing adult films for Seymore Butts’ Lighthouse Talent Agency.

Last week, we reported that Midwest Independent star Brad Bradley had been offered a WWE developmental deal. I have been able to confirm that Bradley has signed his contract.

The one hour Smackdown special on 11/29 did a 2.35 rating.

Backstage News: Rock's Vacation, Austin/Hogan, RAW GM, Loads More

The Rock is on vacation, attending to fishing and hitting the beach.

At this point, a Hogan v. Austin match for Wrestlemania is considered unlikely. Just a reminder, Hogan’s VH-1 “Hogan’s Knows Best” returns to the airwaves next month.

According to Dave Meltzer, Shane McMahon is not scheduled to be Raw GM. Its more likely for Dusty Rhodes to get the spot.

Despite rumors, there are no plans for Eric Bischoff to manage the reuniting 3 Minute Warning tag team.

The plan is to elevate Bobby Roode in TNA.

Huge Update on the Situation with Ken Kenndey

After working through his injury, Ken Kennedy is said to have been hurting so bad that when he couldn’t even put his hand in his pocket to get his wallet at a restaurant because it was hurting so bad. The doctors told him it was a complete tear, compared to Batista’s partial tear, and that he would need surgery. Kennedy had the surgery for the lat tear on December 6, and isn’t expected back at 100% until as late as June.

Vince is said to be a huge fan of Ken Kennedy and actually wanted to put him in a major match at WrestleMania, however it doesn’t look like that will be happening now. Vince told Kennedy to have the surgery, to give him time to come up with a plan of action for his return.

They will likely give him some sort of on-air role during his recovery to keep his character alive, similar to what they did with Edge.

The Rock & Austin Disgusted with Recent WWE Angle

The Rock and Steve Austin, two of WWE's all-time biggest stars, were disgusted with the controversial Undertaker angle that involved Eddie Guerrero's car, reports PWTorch.com.

And, those two were not the only influential WWE superstars upset by the angle, which aired on the Tuesday SmackDown! special.

Another former WWE headliner said, "It's almost like you've worked for Satan when you see decisions like that. It was really in poor taste."

Austin and The Rock have been keeping a good distance from WWE as of late; although Rock has a legitimate excuse in his movie career, sources say that more is at play than just his heavy schedule.

WWE wrestlers have been criticizing a great number of Vince McMahon's recent decisions.

"That n*gga comment was pretty inexcusable. Then, in the same week, they have Rey Mysterio comes out in Eddie's car to Eddie's music, only to blow up the car? Lots of people wondering what really is wrong with Vince," one source said.

The Rock to TNA? Terry Funk on TV & More Notes

The Rock will be shown on TNA this coming Saturday night. Well, kind of. TNA will air footage from the Spike TV Video Game Awards show, where The Rock appeared, as well as TNA stars Jeff Jarrett and A.J. Styles.

There is a tease that "NWA world champion Jeff Jarrett and The Rock were seen talking backstage." That's probably true considering their families have worked together since the 1970s. It's very doubtful that there's anything more to the situation other than that.

The Sci-Fi Channel will be airing an episode of Quantum Leap from 1991 at noon tomorrow which features Terry Funk as the star. The entire episode is actually built around the old days of territorial pro wrestling.

Flair's Divorce & Murdoch/Mexicools Update

In her divorce papers, Beth Flair claims that her soon to be divorced husband Ric abused steroids and alcohol during their marriage. She also claims that Flair exposed himself to her friends and committed adultery. The divorce is close to be finalized.

The Mexicools and Trevor Murdoch are slated for big pushes in 2006.

WWE Notes: Armageddon PPV, Dicks/LOD Match, Ashley/Maxim, More

Ticket sales for the Armageddon PPV in Providence, Rhode Island this Sunday are reportedly very soft at the moment. As of this week, WWE had sold about half of the building for the PPV event.

According to reports, The Dicks vs. Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich match that was taped on Tuesday and scheduled to air on Friday Night SmackDown this week will be cut from the show due to timing issues.

Publisher's Marketplace wrote the following about Chris Jericho's new book deal: "Former WWE Champion and lead singer of "Fozzy" Chris Jericho's A LION'S TALE, about his formative years in the wrestling business, and how he went from being the only blonde Canadian in Mexico to a wrestling star, to Jason Pinter at Warner in a good deal by Marc Gerald at the Agency Group."

WWE.com has an interview up with Ashley talking about her appearance in the latest issue of Maxium Magazine. There is also a funny question at the end asking if she would ever pose for Playboy. I guess we are suppose to forget the name "Ryan MacKenzie".

Backstage Ric Flair News, Big Upcoming Push, & More

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the Mexicools are in line for a big push soon. As previously reported here, Juvi had been asking for a big solo push without the rest of the Mexicools, but management is rather fond of the group as a whole.

The PWTorch Newsletter is reporting that the breakdown of Ric Flair over all of the negative publicity has been the number one topic of discussion backstage lately. Ric Flair is said to be devastated over all of the attention that the road rage allegation and divorce papers have gotten him.

JBL was the only wrestler from the SmackDown roster to go on the RAW tour overseas last week.

I am back from a three days' ban. :) Thanks for offering the link, but Batista & Rey are the Tag Team Champions, are you kidding me? I mean, the result made the MNM, Mexicool match completely pointless at Armageddon. In addition, Batista now has two belts, WTF? By allowing Batista & Rey to become the champions, it will only ruin the Tag Team Division. More importantly, most of us know that Batista is married already, so I wonder what will happen when his wife watches the Melina & Batista segment. :P The Randy Orton segment is pretty awesome. It seems that Taker will pick up the win on Subday which will be a good reason to send RO to the Rumble and wins it. In general, today's SD! will be pretty werid, and I am still looking for it.

A few random thoughts.

Lance Cade is a lot better in the ring than Trevor Murdoch is, and is more deserving of a push. Murdoch is pretty worthless as a singles wrestler.

Having Batista and Rey as champs is actually a pretty good thing. The tag team division needs to have major starpower holding the titles instead of just having any two people with matching clothing, hair, or whatever.

Problem with WWE PPV's is that all of the matches are based on feuds or rivalries, and that they seem to desperately come up with reasons to have people in matches together. They need to come up with random cool matches, feudless ones.

But having a recently injured World Heavyweight Champion? I have no idea what they are trying to achieve, apart from maybe trying to injure him or make his credibility go down. He can't defend two titles constantly, it will blow up in their face eventually.

LordKooler's Friday Night Smackdown review
1.Boogeyman vs Nunzio
Boogeyman won at the end. Then after the match, Boogeyman makes Nunzio eat worms.
2.Kid Kash vs Super Crazy
Kid Kash's first singles match on Smackdown since he was released from TNA earlier this year for making bad comments about TNA. He also talked bad about TNA before in 2004, But those comments got him suspended. Kid Kash won at the end. Will Kid Kash win the Cruiserweight Championship from Juventud at Armageddon? Or will Juventud retain the title?
3.Batista & Rey Mysterio vs MNM
Batista & Rey won at the end to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. That means that the match between Batista & Rey against Kane & Big Show at Armageddon will be a battle between the tag team champions of RAW & Smackdown. Will the match between MNM & Super Crazy & Psicosis still happen at Armageddon?
4.Lashley vs Paul Burchill
Lashley squashed Burchill at the end.
5.Matt Hardy vs Booker T
Matt Hardy recently started a feud with JBL, Hardy's first feud since his feud with Edge on RAW. They will face each other at Armageddon. I think Booker T won at the end.
6.Randy Orton segment
Randy Orton talks about the Undertaker in his dreams with Theodore long in the ring and then Undertaker came out but Randy orton starts attacking him when one of the guys who came out with Undertaker was revealed to be "Cowboy" Bob Orton!

Yea, that was the point. By allowing Rey & Batista to be the champs, WWE totally ruined the Tag Team Division. The MNM, Mexicools match should NOT be on the PPV since it has nothing to do with the belts now thanks to WWE. The Hardy, JBL match also failed to make sense for me, it was sad to see that a PPV match was booked just because someone attacked someone else. If that logic works, Simon Dean can attack Batista and get a tittle shot. :| With everything messed up right now, I have a feeling that Armageddon will suck. But the HIAC match will rock no matter the outcome.
