I think i'm kind of pointing out the obvious here but does anyone else think the C&C section is just a complete spamfest? I mean apart from the clubs which actually have a point - Ng Gym,ipod club,Sig makers,Writers Guild and and a few more, most of the clubs which I have skimmed through are just 50+ pages of utter bullshit.
Anyone agree?
Dont think the people writing there think its bullshit. And besides, if you say its ALL spam and made EXCEPTIONS , then it can't be all bad. Nothings perfect.

There was. It was called the Club-a-Club Club. Or the CCC for short. Quite a few of todays mods were once members. Ironically for being a club about hating clubs, it grew to be one of the largest on Newgrounds.
oh, and before C&C existed, all the clubs just kept bumping down all the topics in General, and deleting that forum would just cause new people to make clubs here.

1)I've been gone for the best part of a year.
2) I mostly stick to C&C. Wandering into General makes me feel like I've escaped from my cage and seen horrible, horrible freedom for the first time in an eon. So I crawl back to my cage and protect my precious little baby that is C&C.

Agreed, just having a club or a crew about just one sport is limiting. You can't talk about multi-sport issues, and also its just chaotic having seven different topics about seven different things within a club.

The C&C has the best topics like the wrestling club, the basketball crew and pretty much anything to do with sports and there's actual discussions going on in most of the clubs.

I have only skimmed through the C & C's section three times, and I realised that from the first look through.
I used to be huge on the C&C. It was the only fourm I went to...
Now the only clubs I'm a part of now are "Guitarists" and "The NHL Hockey Fanclub"

well the C&C is kinda a place where people are least likely to get banned and get hassled, in the case of Twin_Uzis, he claimed to have left NG just because of what i just verifyed.

I can honestly say that the 3 different Sig-making clubs are not spam. They make Sigs for other NG users to use on NG. It's not like you can use the 400 X 60 Sig pics on other forums, outside of NG. Without the Sig-making clubs, you'd have a butt-load of users with ugly-as-Hell, MS paint Sigs that they'd make on their own! I don't want to see that every time I scroll through a thread! Even though my current Sig was made as a personal favor, by GoodFella; it's still nice that a new NG user can go to one of those clubs and request a cool Sig! And, a user whom they have never met before, makes them a cool Sig; for FREE! .......... There's not a lot of things you'll get during your lifetime that are both cool & free!
