What's the difference in power of the whistle? When I hit abusive on reviews it just adds one more marked as not helpful. I'm guessing the power is mostly on flash movies? How does that work? I'm a dum-dum. So will my one abusive mark on flash count as like 4 times the power as a normal whistle?

Your whistle level goes up as you mark more reviews correctly. If you mark incorrectly it will go back down and can eventually break. As for how strong it is. I am under the assumption flagging power goes up like voting power does. I don't think anyone knows any specifics about the system except for the admins though.

Well the amount of flag power needed for reviews and Flashes are different.
Also your whistle power is the same when flagging both reviews and Flashes.
From experience though I know that garbage whistle users have some flag power when it comes to Flashes.

Read this for an in-depth explanation of the whistle system. However, bear in mind that, that thread is rather outdated, most of the points raised are still the case though. The only change is that each level has a fixed number of points required for each level, so the deity user doesn't make the points needed increase.

Well since to have gold you'll have a flag power of at least 2.00, and quarter of that is 0.50 which would give you bronze, it's more than 4 times the power.
Until you reach deity though, your whistle power depends entirely on how many whistle points you have.

Yeh it's around 70, not too bad at all.

Actually it pisses me off that everyone has been asking me that all day! But seeing as I am nice I will answer this question AGAIN!
No it doesn't bother me that I am not the only one with thte deity whistle Because now abuse will go faster and I can get whistle points faster as well as not have to reflag stuff as much since the abuse goes faster.

That no longer applies. I'm pretty sure diety is worth 5 now. Any review with more than 4 flags is brought to the review mod's attention, with reviews with the most amount of flags being shown first.
Congratulations to everybody for finally getting the whistle levels that you guys deserve.
Now get out there and use 'em. Flag things that are especially abusive, because the extra flags will help the review mods get rid of the stuff faster (by making them appear to us faster).
