the best way is make friends with someone who hosts their own and can spare 20 or so MB for you, as unlimited choice of username and hopefully they have a decent/short domain.

I used to use o-f.com but there are just too many adverts. If you are just uploading flash, pics and html pages used thefilebin.com . 100mb, unlimited tranfers. But if you want php or mySQL don't use it.
