If you read the comics, all your questions will be answered. First, Sonic is not gay, he has a girlfriend. Tails is not his genetic brother, Sonic treats Tails like a little brother because Tails' parents are both missing in action (he does have a pretty cool uncle who just came back, though). And Sonic spends a lot of time with his parents, his uncle, and the rest of the FF, so I really don't see how you can use the fact that he sticks around with Tails as evidence that he is gay.

I don't believe Sonic was ever intended to be the homosexual sex monster that many people have thought him to be. But then a lot of people do that with cartoon fictional characters that are famous, so I can forgive them. Besides, some of the pictures of him and his friends in comprimising positions can be funny if done right.
