16 hours now

no way you had to be doing something to keep you awake you'd be insane by now.

The longest I stayed up was 20 hours or so, then I went driving. Little did I know, it was foggy. Not a good fucking idea.

... Um actually he was right. A tag like "<bad joke/>" is a self-closing tag it is often used for the <IMG>, <P> and <param> tag.
You can have it like this: <IMG src="bla.jpg"/> or <P/>
It doesn't do much, but it is more technically correct than not closing it.

About the time spent without sleeping... I have never stayed up for more than 20 hours. I do go to bed late every night like... 2 in the morning. And that's probably why I've been getting so sick all the time. I got sick 3 times in a month. Including an acute bronchitis. You HAVE to sleep! Apparently, the effects of not sleeping are caused by the stress hormone "Cortisol" - It tends to attack the immune system when present in large quantities. Not sleeping causes the cortisol to build up. When you sleep you do not produce Cortisol... Unless you've had a really bad dream.

I have gone around 2 days without sleep before, but I'd never make it any longer...
