Easter is actually a stolen holiday. Old pagan religions celebrated a holiday around this time every year to give thanks to the goddess Ishtar.

If Apple Jacks aren't going to taste like real apples, then they can get a regular job like everybody else.

Almost all Christian holidays are. They purposely used Pagan holidays, symbolisms, and even the pagan's divine images of their Gods/Goddesses in order to "recruit" during the early days of Christianity.

Of course, few Christians will actually admit to this.

Christianity and paganism lived in harmony for a long time before some dinks got some power and decided to lord it (lol) over people.

Most churches in Europe had all the gods displayed, and they were communal holy places.

Organisation, and power is what turned Christianity to the shit it is today.

God said, and Jesus said, that to pray by the side of the road in plain view is sacriligious, a show for others. Church today is the side of the road. He said to pray in private, because it IS private. You can spread the word of God, but only to those that want to hear. Deaf ears may be turned, but only in their own time, and in their own way.
