Please search before making a new thread.
I went through the first two pages alone and found five clubs dedicated to the bass. Knock yourself out.

Sweet! What kind of bass do you have?
And what do you think of any bass past the fourth string?

I have a peavey milestone 4. Its alright but i am trying to get a dean 6 string frettless. I like the two extra strings for when you need to start high and end on a low note to top it off. I also love the mega-bass feel on the extra low b string. How long have you been playing??

Fender is a good generic brand. I started with a peavy and it hasn't let me down yet. When your looking at basses, remeber its all about the feel. Is the neck of the frett board to thick for you? Is it the right size? The basses have a lot of different body sizes. There isn't a sertain measure of logic to use. So just pick up a bass, plug it in an amp, and just see if it feels right.

my first bass was a fender, but i got rid of it. for now i only have a guitar, but soon im getting another bass. im most likely going to get a vampyre.

Can I join. I have a four string Ibanez, and I can almost play a five string fretless.

Hey wassup!

I don't play bass, but I'm in the guitartabberscrew.
Bass-players are very welcome there too, just read the first post there and than maybe you can join!
I would be honored to be in a crew with bass-players and in the tabberscrew you can show your talent as a player!!!

Response to Bass Guitars Club Aug 22, 2004

no, i don't want to join the guitar tabber screw, that just sounds plain nasty
