Sweet to see Hylics and Felvidek be mentioned here!

I don't know if this quite counts as obscure enough but I will take every opportunity I get to show people this song, from Rodea the Sky Soldier

ilomilo had a great OST!

Especially the song I posted, I hum and whistle this tune all the time.

Great game, I hope the devs get to make something new.

I stalled a bunch before posting here so sorry for the bump, but No Straight Roads has amazing music. I’ll post examples when I’ve got time, but I’d highly recommend you listen to the boss themes. And if you don’t like one of them for whatever reason, try the rock or EDM version of that track! The music is influenced in game by how much you’re winning the fight, so there’s multiple remixes of each track.

Someone please help me revive my clubs

The OST for "Okage: Shadow King" was a large influence on me, primarily with how it plays a lot with old samples, like a LOT of iconic soundfonts in this game. I'm surprised no one ever tried to rip the sounds from the game, but it's basically got everything all in there, Just an absurd amount of history in this soundtrack - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj3wR68AxYE&ab_channel=parpam

But I think the OST that hard the most influence on me was Kingsley's Adventure, it's absolute batshit mix of genres, instruments, and just full on commiting to the world and level design created such a brutal in your face soundtrack that can go from soft, romantic, and charming, to loud punchy organs and the most obnoxious trumpet squeels - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liBcpy_HB4I&t=2860s&ab_channel=PhilipJ.FryII

Fupping YES! *SO* incredibly glad to see NSR be mentioned! It's a game all about music, why people craft music and their reasons for engaging with it, music as an industry and the effect that can have on them, and personality and love for music as a whole.

Not many games where bosses have five different variations of their themes (Base, EDM, ROCK, Christmas version and Encore Edition remix), plus the Drum and Guitar solos.

It's a bit mixed as a "game" in the view of people, but by something is it worth checking out. Had really good experiences with other people thanks to it. Life would've been significantly different without it.

The Encore Edition event was something special as well. 273 pieces of fan art to find (and see the credits for who made the individual pieces) in the overworld. My own one can be found in Eve's district, after entering a fuchsia neon corridor leading into the room with the eye totem.

Finally, DK WEST, DK WEST, HE'S OUR MAN OH HE'S THE BEST

I like the OST for a mobile game called "Drop Wizard" because it's in tune with the SNES style
