Here's my boss battle music:
I don't know if I have a specific design for this battle, but my idea was that the protagonist (player) may be the true villian and not the boss you are fighting against.

I dunno if it counts because this is a remix, but we got a little metal boss theme here. Frantic, fast paced, and techy. I'm thinking laser blasters and a mechanized boss that keeps you on your toes the whole match-up
Dueling your boss after you were late to work. There are office supplies flying at your head. You have to survive the round and successfully negotiate a raise, all while managing your stamina and anger bars.
A MegaMan-X Command Mission style boss battle, like with Colonel Redips in space. Your enemy is massively OP, and drops fire equipment for NG plus when you're done. Protagonists have flashy special abilities with cutscenes that play when triggered.
I've done several hotter pieces through the years but these are the ones that stand out to me as boss themes.

I really like the second one, it really gives a sense of danger. The guitar really adds to it.
The third one is also nice. It's very long and even kinda chaotic while keeping a slow bpm.

Cool! Sounds like something that could be in a Sonic game! I also how it doesn't feel repetitive or boring while being consistent.
I wrote this for a boss called Ferrous Force. It's a giant wall of steel that spits out rubbish robots that fart at you, so it had to sound big but also a bit daft. Not one my highest Newgrounds scores but I still really love it and that's what counts :)
I also designed this as the 'boss track' of my Celestial Bliss album.

My album 'Advancement' ended up having a sort of bargain-bin JRPG sort of theme to it. Started off unintentionally but I leant more into it as I worked on it. My idea was that the four main tracks are different fight music, the further on it gets the tougher the fight.
The penultimate song Advancement Four was meant to be the super-ultra-mega-final-boss theme, but because I was running out of time to make it I rushed the entire song so it's nothing like what I had in my head, so I'd probably call Advancement Three the Boss Battle theme.

Well I made this song over a decade ago for a flash game on Picoday, it was used for generic fighting music but I think it sounds boss-like enough to be included here.

Most of my music is inspired by boss themes, so unevitably some of my songs sound like boss themes while not being intented to be one. However, I did imagine this one to be quite the fight: It was made for one of my OCs. I, though, have no pic of them rn, but well, theyre supposed to be a powerful deity in the universe theyre set in.
it is a boss battle music against the mc’s rival. as a descendant of royal magpie family she tries to be as serious as possible in the beginning, but slowly becomes silly as mc starts to win.
