BBS Awards 2023 : Results

[Little-Rena]

Before we begin, I want to apologies for the significant delay in the awards, I have been very ill since last year (haha funny joke cos it was December 26th!), which has made it hard to stay focused. I have now completed it though, and crunched the numbers, there will be some shocks I'm sure.

Here is the presentation, I went with a different style this year, want to mix things up a bit you know. If you would prefer the Windows emulator again next year, let me know, and I'll see what I can do.

Some stats

Total amount of users who cast valid votes - 36 (Down 6 from last year)

Most votes - 23 (Wegra - Biggest Attention Whore)

Least votes - 0 (Mist - Biggest Attention Whore)

Close run contest - Worst Thread of the Year (3 way tie)

Yes!!! I am offisialy part of NG culture. Even tho i diddnt win the newcommer award i am still proud of getting this amounth of votes (@fe3l1ngsk1lledd does deserve that award ngl). Its nice to know i have been an impactful member of the BBS over this one year.

I do wish the awards was easier to navigate to. idk if im doing it whrong but fliiping the awards are hard. I exited the book and then i picked it up again to see a new award and rinse and repeat. Idk if there is a way to flip through the awards tho. But if there is: make it clearer that you can flip through the awards. Interacting with stuff is a bit jank. I do however likes this stucture of the awards but i wished it was clearer to navigate through and interacting with stuff wassnt so janky.

Yeah, that's the problem with having a custom cursor, maybe I could have done better making it register, or a way to turn it off.

If youre doing this stucture again for next year remember to toggle a cursor and have better indicators to navigate the awards. Cuz i diddnt know i coud click on the corner on the page to flip it. But still this is a great award pressentation.

Congrats to some of the BBS winners of last year, despite the sudden changes in March. Just wow, I'm very surprised with the results. Anyways I plan on pursuing my own personal goals in life and doing something for the community on here without going to the forums that much like I used to (Just incase something happens to me, on here).
