It was on my old account that is no longer active. I plan on reposting some of my art again on NG in the near future.

Oh, I see, that's a shame

I still really like this old gif I made of an OC of mine.

Dude, that looks awesome. Creppy but cool!
I found another one (and this one's lovely :))))) )
This is a character of mine. A girl called Delsi Ambar, an undercover agent who has the ability to morph into a sheep. She can be seen here too:

It sure looks good. I like the character design and the colors. Dunno why, but it reminded me of "meet the Robinsons"
theres this one thing i did
it kind of looks like my newer art but my art in 2021 was ass back then so this is like a peak for me

I like it, it looks lovely. Inspired by annoying orange?
"Proud of"? Not really, since that gives the implication that I think my old art is good. Heck the "oldest" piece of art that I've made that I'm legitimately proud of now was made at the beginning of this year (for perspective I've been on NG since 2021). That doesn't mean I hate my old art, I still have a fondness for them and a sense of pride from seeing how far I've come.
This is the "oldest" piece that I've made that I'm still proud of which I made for Pixel Day 2023:
This piece from 2021 (first year on NG), while I don't like the look of certain aspects, I still have a fondness for:
These pieces from 2022, again I still don't like certain aspects, but I like them overall. This year was the year that I feel like I really started to make big strives in my skill:

Yeah, I liked most of these, seems like good art. Also, the point of this thread is to counter the usual words of "I feel ashamed when I look to old art I made in the past" people tends to say. I believe that we all know we have improved our skills compared to our past selves, yet, there are still things we remember with proud

Thank you :)
Definitely a good thing for artists to learn to not be ashamed of their old art. I appreciate the purpose that you're going for.
Also I like the art you showed off in your og post, very vibrant and creative stuff.
this is the oldest art i currently have on my laptop (i drew this back in early February, iirc) and even tho ive definitely improved a lot and this doesnt fit my usual style at all, im still really into it! i think the colors are super pleasing and the background is really nice! :D
I did this like 3 years ago and even though I would totally polish it up more nowadays, it was around this time when I really started to get better with my use of color and I still really like the idea of the outside worlds light being colorful and the office is black n white
I'm the best for a reason.

The drawing sure looks good. Also, the idea is neat, maybe you should try redoing it with a more darker room (less ilumination, a bit of blur, etc)
I still like this illustration to this day. I think today I could make it 50% better lol

That art does look cool. Of course it can be improved, but depends totally you want to do

Yes. Today I know how to work better with colors. And maybe the anatomy in perspective of the character lol
I would do these things better

I have to agree on that, sure is lots of fun doing weird stuff. If only I could count the times I drawed something just because my brain told me to do so

Not too long ago made this, i decided to post it and try to get advice on how to get better, but i actually got much less harsh criticism than i expected for it, just told me to spend more time on drawing
Indeed I do:
Roxanne
I drew this in the early 2000's. It's still posted here even though like so many other people, I don't use DA anymore & strictly stick to NG. Unfortunately I lost the original when I moved to my current apartment.
Am sure I could do a better version of this now even if it took longer, as it almost certainly would...
