Did anybody read this before submitting?

Comic Dubs: This is an evolving area. If you are simply adding audio over static images from an existing comic, please refrain from sharing it here. If you have created a motion comic that introduces elements of animation along with audio, you can share it here but only if the artist themselves has an NG account and is co-authored on the piece. Please rate your entry appropriately; this category has been under much scrutiny after several mis-rated Adult comic dubs won daily awards. Rate your entry Adult if it contains nudity and sexual situations.

Hmm and it's even in the title, seems like they probably did not read...

Congrats to the winners though!

3rd place is also a bit iffy too. Just a little.

Using what happened on the 29th as a case study (Full story summarised by Tom here:), it's clear that in the 3 weeks since, nothing was done to resolve this. Nothing except a bunch of people whining on Twitter about

i. how Newgrounds hates 3D art (apparently the top 3D artists still use existing assets and models)

ii. how we don't apply the same logic to sprite animations, ie. using Mario sprites (Even back then, people like Zekey were criticising them for their lack of effort), yet they remain on the platform to this day).

iii. For some reason, someone roped the Tankman Triweekly into this mess.

All I ask is for SOMETHING to fix this, though maybe not something as extreme as removing the dailies altogether.

Congrats to the winners from 2nd to 5th place.

A member of Thumbnail Crew!, you should help as well!

Congrats everybody.

Personally I'm proud to see Diives post something other than furry porn

Gray did something I suppose.

Teemovsall, it does take a lot of work to make those animations but it is just Patreon bait.

Simon's bathroom quest is the essential Newgrounds daily submission.

and good job JordanMLacroix for actually making a decent short episode with voice acting and actually funny little jokes that added something to my day.

I'm starting to notice a pattern on how lower top entries usually are the best ones. fuck if I can do something any better though

xoxo 💋 (ps: okay I guess you can watch TRW)

Seems like it's all in reverse order.

Just maybe not something as extreme as? ;)

I do feel like this is still a relatively trivial issue in the bigger scheme of things, despite the occasional shortcomings or flaws with certain submissions the showcase does tend to provide a varied dose of daily entertainment, and it is community-driven after all, so oddities are IMHO thus excusable. It's a fun thing regardless.
