Its usually the moderators who decide what stays and what doesn't. Couple that with Newgrounds going from edgy freedom of expression website to another "hate speech is real / safe space" for kids and you get what it is now.
Make Newgrounds Great Again! Moderation should be fair, not abused.
TBH the 13 y/o users posts all remind me of when I was 13 on here and I think it’s funny seeing posts from 13 year olds, and 20 year olds, and 40 year olds all in the same place.

The BBS is definitely different compared to when I was originally active here in 2014-2015 when the rules were stricter and a lot of threads today would've been considered (image) spam. I feel like there was a slight change of rules recently as some threads have been silently getting locked or deleted but that might just be me.
It's always been like that, we just have more people than usual.

i love the kind of friend groups where they are goofy and crack jokes but 10 minutes later get serious about how they are feeling and what they are thinking. the forums invoke that for me and even though its inconsistent, thats kinda how its always been for most people and i honestly appreciate that.
