I thought this website does not allow people under 13 also FNF is not for kids there is a ton of obvious adult references and some swear words and many people even stated it. A reason why kids like FNF is because of all of the content that is out there that is easily accessible to them. It is all over youtube and even youtube kids and content creators playing the game. Content creators make FNF look like it is for kids while in reality it is not. Also you don't need to be logged in to play FNF on newgrounds and you can just download it on itch.io. It is overly used in Youtube kids content. Am not saying that content creators need to stop making FNF content but the family friendly creators should stop or just Youtube should make it so you cannot publish an video having FNF in the title with the "Ok for kids" enabled. But problem is. IT STILL IS RECOMMENDED FOR KIDS EVEN WITHOUT THE "Ok for kids" enabled. That is why kids like FNF and how kids liking FNF get onto freaking newgrounds. Newgrounds also can't just straight out make it to verify if your over 13+. People would prob leave the site if you would have to share an ID or something. At this point we can't really stop it besides moderators are gonna be having to ban these accounts. I recomend they do bans like posion bans "IP banning and device ban at the same time." Expect kids can get arround that using VMs and VPNs.

Another thing is kids getting on Newgrounds is also bad.

There are sides of this site that allow NSFW unrestricted Hell even I mistakenlly gotten on one of the pages logged in seeing porn ads everywhere and am under 18 (but above 13)! I don't blame that there is NSFW on newgrounds but kids able to see this is also bad!

An possible way for kids getting on Newgrounds can be stopped.

An idea I have to prevent kids from creating an account. Maybe. An text to speech when you hop onto the website giving an warning about you must be above 13 and that there is areas of the site that is NSFW. That is really the only way. It is like way to hard to prevent below 13 on getting onto the site.

Yeah, the forums here are kind of a clusterfuck being honest. Sometimes I want to have a serious discussion on something, but the forums are just flooded with shitposts and dumb questions probably ripped right from r/AskReddit. I really want to use this site more, but as it stands I have to go to other forums to have those discussions.

Just another day on newgrounds what of it?

I don't usually hang around on the NG forums, but I decided to take a check here today and of course, saw this as a featured thread.

Now of late I've upped my number forums to around 6 or 7, but I only frequent around 2.

from my understanding though, alot of forums with established community tend to have varying levels of regulars, from pure nearly unsatiable shit-posters. those dudes get off to it and all that arises from shitposting on the OG online social that is forums plain as.

then there are the folks who use forums to of course be intellectual, helpful or are seeking help, like forums were created and intended to be used for and as a source or place of such discussion.

of course we all do abit of trolling and we all have legit questions that need legit answers, but as it so happens shit posting is easy, and young/imature/entrenched shitposters just kinda show up alot to do that because it's easy and can potentially get you something resembling a reputation or community involvement.

Myself? I don't frequent the NG forums all that much since I'm usually playin games, in a library or other online or IRL stuff, as one usually does.

though I have some modest forum threads most of which have some level of seriousness to them, given I'm not heavily involved with NG or it's community, I imagine myself and others like me just aren't producing the levels of legit threads to comfortably balance the shit posting.

though this is of course conjecture, take it as you please.

Yeah, I agree. The state of the ng forums is super capricious. Maybe that's because it's picked up in popularity a little and now there are more people starting new things all the time. Newgrounds is like your remaining 8 brain cells trying to discover the meaning of life. It's great
