I've questioned that when joining BBS last year, now I'm over a thousand poast
upon joining General there are many more opportunities to post and reply than other forums on the site, it also moves in near real time, so raising your post count is easy...

I used to spend 2-3 hours every day back in 2010-12 just shitposting in the forum to get to 10K as fast as I could. yes, kid me had no life at all.
good thing i discovered tf2 at some point. lol
the first 10k took me 3 years of that. 2011 and 12 were my most active years, and in those 2 years I made 8320 shitposts, give or take. my least active was probably 2018-2020 where I made less than a tenth of that (510)

At any time, someone could have their account deleted and, with it, all threads they have made and, with that, all of your posts in such threads. So your post count could slip below 8888 and need to be built back up to it!

Definitely, I have predicted and expect this...its not like even when I reach 8888 posts I would have quit the site altogether....after all posting to the forum is an act almost none of the artists on this site participate in, I'm in the vast minority for doing so.
As it stands I think having a time limit is more than reasonable. I dont expect to get there any time soon...I probably only average 50 posts a week but I definitely am making a concerted effort to post more to hasten this process....
I just want 8's in every field on my profile for fun....once that happens...it is over.

My question to you is, how have you not died or "been disappeared" if you live in China and are actively posting things against whatever the official Chinese government position is?
To be clear, I want you to be safe. I don't want anything to happen. But if you are in China, then why do you so brazenly post these things? And I don't think posting in English would make it "safe" since I'm sure the Chinese government has translators.

But to be a little more serious, most of the younger generators have posted anti-government comments in various sites.
The majority are much more outspoken and I should be the least concerned.
