Actually, come to think of it I genuinely feel that I have no interest in doing any of these trends that come out of it. To me it's just a giggle and that's about it.
Strange...the video says that TikTok is addictive and somehow became a must-see for tons of people. Yet I never downloaded the app or showed any interest, even before it became apparent that it was another path to CCP dominance.
They also compared the addictive nature to Vegas casinos. I went on vacation to Vegas last August, not showing much interest in gambling myself. I decided to bet $100 and lost half of it, never getting stimulated by the slot machines, blackjack, roulette, etc. Of course, the main reason I went to Vegas in the first place was this.
Why am I not vulnerable to those kinds of addictions in the first place?
Of course, I am more concerned about how much of what we buy is Made in China, and how there is little to no pressure for corporations to move their supply chains elsewhere.
I believe in the ultimate triumph of evil over good in this world.

I guess I should be glad it exists though, so people won't flood youtube with their shitty 10 second clips of crappy lipsyncing, with their dumb faces way to close to the phone camera. Any "private business" or anything "owned" by its citizens is automatically owned by the Chinese government, because they still follow under some fundamentals of communism (government owns everything), even though they practice free trading with the rest of the world.

It is me, or do people have freakouts every time someone says that China could potentially take over the world using technology and try to implement their systems towards every other country? Never mind the fact that they are generally quite shoddy at projecting soft power and their military, while certainly fearsome in East Asia, can easily be tied up on their Pacific coast?
I don’t have TikTok and never will, but it’s merely because it’s a waste of time and space on my phone. The data collection and CCP censorship is a happy, but unrelated coincidence.

What utter tripe. The video kicks into full insanity after the 24 minute mark or so and goes full turning-the-frogs-gay mode. Just more and more alarmist bullshit, and the author either doesn't see the irony in it all, or knows full well what they're doing.
Let me make it clear: there's not a chance in hell that China would actually go to war, nor would they take over the world.
I would be happy if they did, though, because it would mean I don't have to see the brain rot that are these videos anymore.
