this statement has no ill will, and yet somebody will have a problem with it. And all it does is paint me in a weird light for anyone that takes offense to it, which is fine with me.

I love the idea of being able to talk about literally anything openly, just as long as they're not harmful towards specific groups of people or individuals. I've been studying a lot of comedy and it's wild how it's a stage for open discussions about literally anything because it's all painted in a well-lit light until it becomes distasteful by subjectivity or because the initial writer of the joke turned out to be a joke themselves. Sometimes invoking human emotion towards a topic you really care about is the point all along, no matter how you get those emotions pulled from out of the crowd.

So, I guess I can't take anything seriously coming from people too afraid of other's opinions anymore.
