I've had the misfortune of people dropping that phrase into conversation a few times. One time I got to meet a family member's date for the first time and it was like the 3rd thing he said in our conversation.
The word "edgy". A lot of older art/design folk like to use "edgy" to describe things that are out of the norm, but the internet uses "edgy" to mean either Family Guy or Shadow the Hedgehog.
Also what people consider edgy these days can be so tame at times that I feel like I'm being counter-trolled. So nowadays it just don't mean nothin', far as I'm concerned
