I'm going to go for some personal best lifts this week.
If you needed to get pumped up, whats in your headphones?

I feel like this one still stands up. It used to be my pump-up song in high school.
What do I, the notorious metalhead who's all about fast and loud guitars and angry vocals that'll put anyone in the mood to punch the shit out of any drywall that has the misfortune of existing in their vicinity recommend to pump one's self up for some action?
Well, obviously it's gotta be Macho Man by the Village People.
The extended version of course, not the radio edit that cuts out about two minutes of manliness.

Ever.
At any time.
For any reason.
Driving? 80s music
Working out? 80s music
Wedding? 80s music
Funeral? 80s music

For me it changes almost every week.
Today it would be this one:

Define "80s music".
For me it's this:
Teacher, goth, communist, cynic, alcoholic, master swordsman, king of shitpoasts.
It's better to die together than to live alone.

Good luck with hitting your personal best!
Today I forgot my headphones in the car and was too lazy to go back out and get them. No music for my PR's today, but I did add 20 pounds to my bench press and 20 pounds to my squat today.
Bench 315 ---> 335 (Paused, competition form)
Squat 405 ---> 425
Tomorrow I go for OHP and maybe deadlift if I feel up to doing both. Will need music for them.

Anything from Initial D. It's the perfect blend of mindless corny lyrics, fast beats, and competetiveness that really makes me want to do things.
