Hey can anyone here recall a game on Newgrounds that shows your username in the game? Like a "Welcome, Username!" message when you are in the game.
There have been a bunch over the years but trying to find an example now and coming up blank... Also needs to be one made with AS2. Zombidle brings in usernames but is AS3.
This will be helpful with testing flash vars in Ruffle, for NG passing usernames into games.
Could've sworn I remembered something for this but since I don't now I'm curious.

I remember a strip poker game you could play with other NG members that was kind of awkward lol. It might have been blackjack, it was a while ago

Cathode Raybots shows usernames associated with enemy files but I don't think it actually shows YOUR username.
One that I remember is Apples in the Tree: you have to go to the house on your left, run to the door, click it, run to the closet and click it, click the credits poster, (EPILEPSY WARNING, the background has flashing colors!) and you can find the reference to your username at the end of the room. But I don't know if it's in AS2. This tutorial uses that function and it might be in AS2.

Now I'm curious to see what new games will have this feature. I wonder if there will be a way to revive Flash, but that's just wishful thinking on my part.
Maybe Skincraft? I'm not entire sure if it was made in AS2 tho.
