MIA Contest 2020

Welcome to the third Music Inspired Art Contest! 

The first one was in 2015, the second in 2019. The Idea is to make an illustration or GIF inspired by a song from the audio portal. I would like to make this an annual thing, and to make it stick I think it would be best to celebrate it at the same time every year, from July 1st to August 31st, after the Art Inspired Music Contest. To encourage participation, we're offering MONEY, yeah that's right you can win some money.

The judges ( @Miroko , @sabtastic and I) will take into consideration the quality of the piece, originality and how well it compliments the song. Everyone is encouraged to take part in the contest, and I'm looking forward to looking at all the entries!

Prizes:

The boyz and I decided to donate most of our winnings from our Musk Jam cartoon for the contest

You can make a donation and PM @TomFulp to be added here as a prize sponsor.

1st $75 US and Interview with @theinterviewer

2nd $75 US

3rd $75 US

4th $30 US

5th $30 US

6th $30 US

Rules:

1. Your entry must be an original piece, you can enter as many as you want, but only one prize per person.

2. Music must be an original piece from the audio portal by another artist(s).

3. You must include the full URL of the song that you're using as inspiration from the audio portal on a single line at the top of the description of your piece.

4. No A rated content.

5. You must post your entry on the art portal and tag it MIA2020 before August 31, 11:59 PST. It can be an illustration or a GIF.

So it’s the person who comes first who decides whether they want to do the interview or not. Is that correct?
