B) Will smut submissions be eligible to enter the contest?
C) What's the protocol on non vector work such as: Painted backgrounds
Painted Stills
ooo ooo Raster animation (Verve, Photoshop, Clipstudio, TVpaint)
ooo ooo Pixel animation [Easytoon, Paint]
3D or stop motion
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Live action Hybrids

D){asking cause I found this odd but any reward is extremely generous and greatly appreciated} What's up with the rewards? All of these rewards are great but it's a bit awkward how things are organized. For example if somebody really wants a penicorn but they know they can't make first place because so and so is in it they have to shoot either for second or 4 or 5 in order to get it? Also the first place doesn;t get a supporter status.

I would heavily like to clarify that this question is to clear things up, not to mock the rewards. A god damn hard rock cafe coupon for a cheezburger sounds like an overwhelming reward for a collab prize hundreds of dollars is something huge. In addition it's 100% obvious yet I will still state this that anybody who wants to participate should do it for the fun not the money or rewards

E) What kinda file you need the final film in? do you want it as an mp4? swf? gif? vhs? film? casette? floppydisk?lazerdisk? flv? avi?

F) Can my submission end in a chala head chala or are the theme songs reserved only for the end and start (a part of the punchline not as credits or anything)

G) Who decides the order? Is it gonna be decided afterwards or is it a: XX submitted first BB submitted second

H) Can you submit more than one entry

I)If you can submit more than one entry does only one count towards the reward? do you have to choose which one? preemptively or does it just include everyone and any double up of prizes will count only once for the better one?

J) How much smut is allowed? Is stamper level stuff the limit (where it's fucking but it's not really porn and bearly anything is showing) or can we go full Zone on this?

K) How late can I join? I'm currently full time on the Robot day things I'm working on and I won't be free to join untill Mid December, would that be an option or is there a wall

L) Can I join now and start later in that type of situation or do you prefer not to reserve seats?

M) Can you get Chris Sabat to narrate the intro and name list?

This is probably alot of questions but I just need to know

Goodluck with the collab and thanks
-Gabriel

FUCKING CHRIST GABE

A) Smuts cool if it's comedic

B) Yes they're eligible but don't affect your chances.

C) Those mediums are acceptable as long as they meet the 1920x1080 resolution

D) Maybe this sounds hard to believe because of how most sites operate but we really aren't gonna be playing favorites when we vote on submissions and decide the winners. I don't care if you have a lot of followers, if you're a friend of ours, or any superficial factors like age, location, gender, blah blah blah. If you make an amazing piece and we all enjoy it, then you can win first place, it's not exclusive to a small fraction of people, it's an open opportunity thing. I REPEAT, your skill/humor are what will determine how you fare in the contest portion, don't feel intimidated because you see someone else is apart of this collab. Newgrounds has always been about community and doesn't play favorites or give into skeevy practices like some other sites and it's always going to stay that way. This place is never gonna be some trashpit that favors sponsored corporations content over its independent creators like Youtube. As one of the last bastions of creator focused platforms, we'd like to give everyone a sense of freedom and opportunity with the work they create, not just make the big guys bigger for a nice pricetag. The prizes are just a nice reward to give back to the creators, the main objective is creating awesome content with our community and for everyone to enjoy this thing!

F) Doing your own cover is fine but avoid using copyright material

G) We'll decide on order with a few factors

H) Probably best to keep it at one, BUT if you finish and have another idea sure

I) Yes only one counts

J) Yeah I suppose

K) We'll probably close submissions a few weeks before, but if you think you can submit something close to the deadline go for it. But we won't delay the collab for late applications

L) Yes this is fine

M) I could call in a favor ;)

Alright i gotta shit real bad, but i wanted to type this out first

Currently I'm learning flash and traditional animation, but I am better at the latter.
I would like to know if traditional animation, with the frames compiled in Flash, is allowed as well?

Is it cool if I shoot you some beats? For the project with DBZ samples in them? Maybe for the menu / fight scenes.

I'm in, I've been needing something to do outside of work and this looks like a perfect thing.

Sounds fun.

I just have one major question. Are musical submissions allowed in this at all? If so, I might have something up my sleeve already.

Check out my audio.

Music and stuff. Yep!

If you need a animator I could help

@ivanalmighty

When submitting my application I didn't link to any work as it can all be found under my profile and I didn't really know what to link to.

Should I re-apply and link something or is this ok?

I was wondering how long until we hear back about whether or not we'll be included in the collab? I sent my name in on the google doc and haven't heard back, I want to start as soon as possible but I'd want to know whether I'm in or not before getting started.

Ivan, once the participants are decided, will everyone know what each other is making? Just to avoid a case of people's entries being way too similar.

Ok, I applied.
My work demo isn't super clean, finished stuff...but hopefully it shows that I know what I'm doing.

Hey everyone.
Growing up, we were too poor for cable TV so I don't know jacksh*t about DBZ. Or most anime for that matter.
Even so, I am happy to help out in any way I can. I always love a NG collab and was sadly going through tough times when any of the others were organised.

Whilst I don't feel knowledgable enough on the subject matter to create my own submission, I will gladly help others. With inbetweens, cleanup, backgrounds, lineart, shading, colouring, special fx. Anything. You name it. If we can just make that final cartoon as high quality and rich as possible, that's all that matters.
I use Flash CC. See my page for examples.
If you must summon me, just reply here or send me a PM. I am happy to help.

Just a bit curious, I'm not using vector styled animation, but making hand drawn animation with filters and a 4.3 aspect ratio to make it look like Toei's classic style. I added head banners on each empty side of the screen. Is something like this acceptable, or do I have to make the vid in 16.9 as default? And if I'm allowed, should I keep the banner, or will you guys make one for anyone using a 4.3 vid?
