Non-ideal photo op thus far.

Are you sure that rooster doesn't detach from the sticks?

That might be just a "rest".

I picked up a ramen bowl that came with chopsticks & a spoon, but the sticks are round, and I'm having a hell of a time picking up noodles with them.

I think I might need some that are more squared at the end.

Using them for soup noodles is difficult, I just end up slurping up the noodles. More solid, bite sized food might be better practise.

One stick stays still and you manipulate the other. Holding it higher up on the stick (further from the food) gives you greater dexterity.

Made a quick, baked pasta with home made meat sauce, prosciutto, brie, and smoked cheddar.

Should have put more cheddar on it, as it really added an extra layer of deliciousness to it.

If I didn't live overseas y'know...

Wouldn't know where to start with online instruction hmm, maybe helps just thinking of 'em like holding a pen, but higher up, and it's two pens. Helps if you angle them a bit more sideways when picking up noodles and other more slippery edibles. You can use 'em better in combined form for certain foods. Hold's preferably pretty light and easy.

Never noticed or knew you held one of them still though @OlTroutBlossom! Interesting, I wonder if I do...

(not intentionally no, sometimes accidentally/when it's just impossible to get rid of, suppose they leave it for decorative value but it really wouldn't look bad without either...)

And that looks amazing. Bed time bad time to be looking at as appetizing visuals as this...

Making chicken livers and fried rice, but got impatient with the chicken livers, so it's egg fried rice for supper, and chicken livers for second supper. If it were breakfast, I'd be a hobbit.

Also, fried rice might be my favourite new thing.

Also also, I cook the rice with chicken broth instead of water.

Made a batch of granola using this recipe. Reasonably quick and easy, and made a few substitutions like using ghee instead of coconut oil. Also chia seeds and hemp heart, would have used flax if I had it as well.

I think I'd use a little less ghee and a little more honey in the next batch, also more cinnamon. Also cookies or bars instead.

Here's half lol.

BBQ chicken, lettuce, cucumber, mushrooms, and store bought Caesar dressing.

Trying to eat more veggies, but I needed dressing, baby steps.

Mmm... Sauce.

Me and a co-worker use to have running euphemisms about sauce.

I do make a tasty Greek dressing, feta brine being my secret ingredient.

Experimented with some seafood risotto once, just a little shrimp, onions, and fish broth. Was pretty good.

I tweeted this the other night, but I think this would be a good place for this question.

What's your last meal? Doesn't have to be a death row situation, but you know it's going to be your last meal ever. What do you choose?
