My rough sketch for Wandering Season. Now it's time to get to work.
This is my work in progress. I plan on doing personified spring in a winter setting. Inspired by moss on rocks and shaymin from pokemon. ;) I am drawing on toned paper with colored pens and pencils as my tools of trade.

Father winter in awe of the first flowers in bloom.
(Oh me feckin' gawd, this is nerve wrecking XD)
Inks in. I tried to experiment with a small brush and liquid ink instead of my fineliners. I have to say the watercolor paper is great to with with this technique and the lines have a nice dynamism that is harder to get with my fineliners. Thankfully I didnt screw the thing :P (please don't mind my hand on this shot, since i did some corrections in photoshop for the paper they look really weird XD)

( I am making the video) here is just the sketch. using a simple ball pen on bond paper, nothing fancy.done in 12 minutes, so bare with me.

I choose Charcoal on 18X24 paper - i find it extremely difficult to render faces on characters in charcoal at this size ...

As a mainly digital artist, I still sketch most of my art on simple printer paper to scan into my computer. Though finishing a piece in a traditional style is something I haven't done in a very long time. Regardless and with media limitations (I only have a couple liners and if you consider my daughter's crayons
- I have those too) I am taking on this challenge.
This is only the second contest I will be entering, but I absolutely fell in love with the theme.

So in the rules it says no pornagraphic content at all, I understand this, but do you consider art done in a classic nude style, or natural female nipples to be pornographic?

While I understand where you are coming from these images may be used on you tube and other sites and female nipples are still taboo, while naked female marble sculptures are considered art (and rightly so) this contest's rules would put a big red line through it.
I am speaking on my own behalf and may be wrong but I think it would be wise to either cover up anything deemed slightly inappropriate or create some other concepts.
Play it safe rather than spending a lot of time and effort into something that will be disregarded straight away due to its content.
