What fictional characters do you hate? In other words, fictional characters that you hate due to poor writing and plotlines, not just because they are meant to be hated.
For example, I hate Doctor Doom for as a villain, he's rather bland.

While I don't hate her Sam Manson is my least favorite character from Danny Phantom. As for why I dislike her not only did her quirks annoy me but the creator of this show basically made her his pet meaning no matter what even if she was wrong she would almost never get punished or worse off rewarded if she fixed the problem she caused.
Ironically though she isn't supposed to be the character everyone hates but rather love.

I know. I think his next hiatus will come out when the next Idol Master game hits the stands. I've heard some off the wall theories about Miura being dead and the editors training up new writers and artists to cover it up.

Kurt Vonnegut's characters aren't very interesting, but he's still an amazing writing.

All female characters from the Final Fantasy games are also pretty boring and relatively predictable.
Also, most anime characters are incredibly dull, at least from what I've seen. The only good anime I've seen is Cowboy Bebop; Spike and Radical Edward are awesome.

Mako Mankanshoku from Kill la Kill, she's the kind of detestable character who brings everything to a crashing halt every time she appears. Unlike Nui Harimame who does the same thing on purpose, Mako is the wacky dipshit who breaks up the flow of the story and the action, especially in the second half. This is NOT how you make a likable sidekick character, Trigger.
All of the new characters of Soul Caliber V with the exception of Ezio, {who is awesome} especially Patrokolos. He has to be one of the biggest dopes in recent gaming history and let's not get started on the psuedo-incest with his sister and being an absolute jerkoff with a hero complex. He's the video game version of Suzaku Kururugi, {and shares the same English VA as well} but with none of reasoning or justification behind it.
I don't hate him as much as I pity him, but Ichika Orimura is a poorly written MC, even by harem standards. Granted, I wasn't expecting the manly mix of Wilt Chamberlain and Kenshiro in Ichika, but he's so completely dense and dumb, that any attempt at potential romance seems like smashing down a brick wall with your head. What makes him pitiable is that's he's the only male character in an all-female school in which they seem to be about as aggressive and horny as starving dogs in heat with enough firepower to rival that of Baltimore, Maryland on a Friday night. Not excusing his dense behavior, but it's not easy when being a tool is your only sort of defense mechanism you have against girls with power armor who are... you get the point.

her treating non-villains like shit is ok and displaying highly unpleasant and some of the worst female behaviors are alright.

I was admittedly holding back a rant about him, so I decided to go the blunt route.
Ted Mosby. Through the whole run of how I met your mother he didn't grow or change or learn a damn thing and in the end were supposed to be happy he got the girl, who he never got over dispute marrying and having children with someone else. Kind of disrespecting the title character

I myself abhor the baby versions of the Mario series. Especially the princesses. Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, and Baby Rosalina can all simply stay away from any future installments of anything. I mean, they're still babies... albeit fictional. They're just annoying to me.
