I feel the same way sometimes Ceevro. It's like painting something "alla prima" or in one shot. I feel like sometimes if I take too much time on revising my work, I'll forget what my goal was (or the goal itself morphs into something totally different). Or the subject I'm painting (or writing music) fades away.
