Well, Newgrounds it's taking so long to submit my animation with audio version, and it also got desync.
I guess the silent version is going to be the "official one", and because I submitted it like 3 minutes before the deadline it isn't going to have a late penalty :/

You know that feeling that the whole universe is trying to stop you? That was this animation. A week ago I was almost finished when my computer got a virus, and I still haven't gotten it back. I made this whole thing in 2 days, with every tool and software I used fighting me every step of the way. Honestly, at this point, I'm just glad I finished it at all.

well, this is totally late and embarrassingly unfinished, and confusing and weird to boot. but seeing as how there will probably be no other occasion to post this nonsense...here's what I put together for NATA 2013:
no sound, almost no backgrounds or colors, and an obviously unfinished ending--I started on this way too late and it took me a long time to even convince myself to come up with an idea and try to enter in the first place. but hey, I animated something, so at least there's that.
thank you to the organizers for putting together an event like this that encourages people to at least try to complete new work. and good luck to everyone that entered!

d'oh! this is probably not worth posting, but I guess I might as well include this here since I have it.
I know this is too late to be part of NATA, but I put together a version of my entry with sound added. definitely kicking myself after somehow managing to forget to use a song I had specifically set aside for this. ah well, I suppose such things can happen when tired and in a rush.
again, this is **not for judging**--but for anyone else that might be interested or that finds it boring to sit through a silent video, this version is exactly the same as my entry except for some music and sound effects. it's still not "finished," but I think it sort of helps get across what I was going for, not that it makes much of a difference, all things considered...
oh, and by the way--great job, everyone! the entries I have seen so far show a lot of different creative takes on the theme. it's really cool seeing all the unique styles and viewpoints everyone has. and hey, even for those of you that had setbacks and things that did not go as planned, there is something to be said for even considering taking on something like this and pushing through. congratulations all around.
