Thats probably nothing to do with the circumcision and probably more to do with the fact that more religious people have circumcisions.

I also think circumcising a baby is a bit of a human rights violation. It hurts like hell, since a baby's nervous system is hypersensitive (Why do you think they cry so much?) and anesthesia is rarely used. Even with painkiller the baby's hypersensitivity means it still hurts. Plus it poses the aforementioned problems late in life.

Cut your own dick if you want, but don't cut your baby's.

Yes. My father asked me, and told me it would greatly reduce the chance of infection if I ever decide to live in a tropical area, in addition to being much cleaner and easier to deal with. (he got himself circumcised in his 30s~40s) He also said I could pee in straight lines. I was around 11 years old at the time, so it hurt like hell. At least I got to stay in bed and play video games all day, even though it was school period. But damn, it is the most painful experience in my life so far.

Do I regret it? No, I'm damn glad to be over with it. I hadn't started masturbating yet before I was circumcised, so I have no idea what I am missing.

I was cut right after I was born, and my family isn't even religious. It REALLY pisses me off for some reason. I don't think they cut too much off though, I have a little bit of foreskin.

In my case I could really careless about being cut, though I understand why people would have issue with it.
