I think it would be awesome if it took place in New York City.

You're off topic. We're talking about Fallout here.
I have a hunch that the setting might be Boston. It will make a great change of pace because I got bored of Fallout 3 after...60 hours (still a fun game, just thought that it was bland after a while)? Looking forward to what Bethesda brings us with an improved Skyrim's creation engine.

Supposedly Bethesda sent a few people to scout out a few areas in Massachusetts. So perhaps the Commonwealth will play a role in the next game?

Not sure how I feel about this to be honest. I guess it could work either way.

You know what that means!
East Coast... where 3-DOG is.....? Washington D.C. area.... east coast am I missing something?

That the concept will be good.
Great. I loved Fallout 3 but not so much Fallout: New Vegas. If they have Three Dog's voice actor tweeting about a sequel then he's bound to be back.
Interplay and Black Isle were working on Fallout Online until Bethesda got the rights. They will still make it but any Fallout : reference is gone.
Boston sounds alright, but I'd much rather it take place in NYC.
I was excited but second I noticed it was announced by 3-dog I lost a lot of hype bethesda made a good fallout but Obsidian made a better one which no surprise cause most of them have experience from working on FO2 which is one best fallouts.
I hope they do a better job at the story for their fallout this time around.

There are also millions of gamers who would agree with him.
Fallout 3 was terrible and the only good thing to come out of it was New Vegas.

I think most of the charm of Fallout 3 comes from how American it seems. Being from the UK, I just can't see it having the same feel to it if it was set here.
I honestly don't want it to be set in New York. I didn't like the dense-city area of Fallout 3. The open ranges and wilderness were more appealing to me. I also want to see what major celebrity they get on the cast so they can kill him/her off in a matter of minutes.

I agree with you about the city area of Fallout 3 but New Vegas managed to make well...New Vegas have a good city-like quality to it without being dull.
Some rumors. Looks like Bethesda has taken note of some of the complaints leveled against FO 3. Cool.

Does this mean they are false?

Great, it doesn't matter though because there is no absolute quality. As in, a game cannot be objectively good because the criteria for what a good game is is created by Human imagination and is still not really fully understood. So if he says it sucks it means he didn't like it, which means "Who gives a shit if he doesn't like it that doesn't change the fact that I still enjoyed the game".

Fallout 1 and 2 great beginnings honestly "Temple of Trials" gets old though..
3 REALLY sucked..

I would disagree with you. In my own opinion it one of my greatest video game experiences.
But that aside, yeah it would be typical for Bethesda do the same prisoner set free. Just because you are supposed to start small doesn't mean it has to be rock bottom.
