It was a time when 100 + users were on general at the same time, New topics were created constantly and it was rare to see things that are commonplace today. Like the latest post in the general forum being posted 15 minutes ago.

I looked at activity stats a few weeks ago. There's now about 29% of the active userbase from 2008 and about 24% of the posts from 2008. The forums have shrunk by 70-75% in 4 four years.
Regardless of all your opinions on quality one thing's for sure, the forums were way more active, and way better because of it.
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.

The pre-2010 forums were like my home, I spent most of my adolescence posting in here, I knew all the regs, and had fun and stuff.
I don't really know how they are now so I can't really compare, but I don't think their much different, only different people.
What I miss are the collabs tho, we used to do just music synched collabs, and that was fun and easy, nobody does that yet, I assume because of the copyright stuff.
