So I just saw the amazing spiderman movie yesterday and I thought the movie was awesome. But when I saw the movie review by IGN I saw that they didnt give it a good score but I still knew it was going to be cool, So I went and the movie was very good. What do you guys think of the movie, Did you think it was cool? or Did you think it was lame?.
I'm seeing it later today. I heard that it was actually pretty good, even though Sam Raimi isn't directing it anymore. I just DON'T want any spoilers during the three hours between now and then.
It looks like it will be shit on in 2 weeks.

I have been really busy, so didn't get a chance to make a proper thread about this film. I saw the Amazing Spider-man and it was excellent. Check it out this weekend and see for yourself. :)

It depends on how well the new Batman movie will be made. If it's as good as the previous one, the comparison is pretty unfair and you have to realize that.

Amazing Spiderman is a 71% I'd say it might be okay, if for like kids.

Sam Raimi not directing it is the reason I had hope for this film. The Raimi Spider-Man trilogy was pretty much garbage.
This was a great film, but remember that this is not connected to the Raimi films in any way whatsoever, they are completely different "universes." So there's no need to base your opinions on how well it "stayed true" to the Raimi films because it's supposed to be a fresh start.
I watched the movie and it was actually pretty good. I don't understand why they changed some of the characters but it's a nice flick. 7-7.5/10

I am a spidey fanboy too and I was expecting it too be good because it was a reboot and it was.
I hated spiderman 3 but then I started to love it because without it there wouldnt be a reboot of the series, And there would be no amazing spiderman.
I didn't care much for it.
So far, aside from the Avengers, this whole summer has been a total washout.
It's up to the Dark Knight Rises now.
If you thought the Raimi Spiderman movies were campy, wait until you see the "crane scene" in this movie.
That might be more campy and stupid than anything Raimi's ever done.
I also didn't like the end credits scene with the mysterious guy talking to lizard.
WHO IS THAT? Lot's of people thought it was Norman Osbourn, but some people who worked on the movie are saying it isn't him.

Yeah, I'm really excited about the Amazing Spider-man. It looks good; the graphics, everything. 3D looks nice too.
My only problem is the Lizard. He looks completely fucked up and nothing like the comics,(which I've hardly read.) He practically looks like a pile of snot. I'm going to see it tomorrow. I HOPE it's good from what I've seen in the trailers.
