Grand Theft Auto Vhas a good liquid engine. I do enjoy the visuals and vistas of the environments as a whole on that game. I do hope that they release a Next Gen and PC version as well, be nice to play the game with mods.

The surface water effects are the most realistic and lifelike I have ever seen in recent memory.
And the underwater detail (including vegetation) really raises the bar.
It was both scary and exciting swimming in the dense harbor weeds.

The original water effects in Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando are amazing.
Can't find any videos of it but the water is way ahead of it's time, the water ingame is a dumbed down version of the original as a little patch of original water caused the games Frame Rate to go into slideshow mode.

haha. I remember how impressed I was when I first played Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance and walked through the water in the sewer.
Although I didn't notice it much, I'm gonna have to go with GTA 5's water, it had nice reflection and physics. However, water isn't really the most impressive thing to make look good, the hardest thing to animate is fire so I recommend starting to find games with good lookin' fire.
