You're right, Majora's Mask had such fucked up stuff. And it was for kids!
The main character witnesses two people DIE, then he wears their faces in a horrifying transformation sequence!
The moon is coming down to kill everyone in three days, and, this gave me nightmares, THE FACE.
Ghosts abduct this one girl and wipe her memory, so she's basically a zombie, this one girl's dad turns INTO a zombie, and the 'fearless' dojo master is cowering in fear in a corner on the last few hours...also the music for the last few hours is depressing...

Majora's Mask wanted to give me nightmares for the rest of my life.
