I really don't think using the sum of two scores from "mentally deficient" people really beats a higher IQ. If you can outsmart one, you're likely to outsmart the other one at the same time.

the only way that would work is if you somehow extracted all the intelligence of one and put it into the other, otherwise they (statistically) would average.

If you let them split the course material, yes.

Makes sense, really. They get to spend twice as many man hours on the test as the single smarty, AND are only responsible for learning half as much per retard.

Why is the medical industry dominated by specialists? Because no individual doctor is smart enough to understand it all! Divide and Conquer is a potent strategy.

And what if the test is not based on knowledge but your ability to make up solutions to problems on various kinds of subjects?

Sorry, but I had to draw this.

How is that a sobering fact? A sobering fact is something which awakens us from the drunken ignorance. When people say "I'm twice as smart as you, you retard" I'm pretty sure their not being serious. Also, how is this relevant to intelligence, the fact remains that an IQ test only tests one part of the brain for specific intelligence. A sportsmen is physically and specially intelligent, like a dancer and an artist is creatively intelligent. That is a true sobering fact of intelligence, because the 'if you don't get straight A's you're stupid' line just doesn't cut it. That is ignorance.

You know IQ doesn't mean anything unless you use it.
A guy with a 180 IQ who doesn't study and sits on his alls playing video games all day is gonna be outsmarted by a guy with a 150 IQ who studies all day.
