The Mega Man series has brought great characters, wonderful music, and creative ideas to the video game culture. Whether you've played the original series on the NES, the X series, or the new ones, you just gotta love that Blue Bomber.
Now I ask you, which game is your favorite, or which do you think is the best in the series? Keep in mind the story, bosses, music, difficulty, and just how much you enjoyed playing the game.
Personally, my favorite is Mega Man 3. I absolutely love the music in it, and it was also the first one I played. The robot masters weren't too ridiculous and the Wily stages were really fun. Plus everyone loves Hard Man.

For some reason, I already knew what the link was before clicking it.
Also 2 or 3 as well, either thar or X-X2
My personal favourite is Megaman 8, just because it was the first one I ever played. Do spin offs count? Cause the Misadventures of Tron Bone is a game I hold very close to my heart.
The original Mega-man legends
Mega man x4 was not first MM game I've played but the first one I managed to complete in through the end. Sigma's final form was difficult as hell.
And a tie between megaman 2 and 3 for music
Mega Man X4. Here's a quick run down of why.
-Cut scenes. Sure the voice acting was laughable, but I liked these scenes.
-It has two different stories for each character with their own abilities.
-It lets you choose between X or Zero for the entire game and no flip flopping between five or six different armors or X. Zero is the harder path to take I admit.
-It has some of my favorite game tracks. Storm Eagle, Slash Beast, and Magma Dragoon are all kick ass tracks, as are the boss battle background musics.
I got it for ten dollars a few months ago and I'm glad I did.
Mega Man X4. I like how you can play both X and Zero, the badass music, and the easter eggs in Frost Walrus's stage where you can see Chill Penguin and Blizzard Buffalo frozen in the background
Mega Man, Mega Man Legends 1 and 2, (waiting for 3!) Mega Man X1,4,7,8 and Command Mission.
Gawd, those were good times. <3
I was always a big fan of the battle network series because of the interesting take, but if i had to go with the traditional side scrolling, 2 all the way
