I already receive enough messages to fill my inbox in 4 days, so indifferent...
It's usually either the few people I do talk to, or a request for VAing that'll never get finished. I shutter a little before I open my inbox, actually.
Happy, but it has about a 25% chance of being spam.
I feel interested because I never get any PMs, so I just check them out in a good mood.

I don't usually feel highly euphoric after receiving a PM, even if it's from someone really important. I just go straight to it, read it thoroughly, and reply if necessary.

I love it when I get a PM disagreeing with me so I have someone to go back and fourth with. I like PM's where people just want to talk shit too, makes me feel more human I guess I dunno.

I feel mostly indifferent and slightly pleased at first.
But it mainly matters what the message says, or sometimes who sent it.
It also might matter, if there's more than one message in my inbox, how many of them are from the same person.

I have to post in a thread complaining about spam before I acutally get spam. I never get spammed and I get really annoyed because of it. I enjoy the thrill of seeing the (1) in my inbox. Usually it's a freind.

I don't think happy is the right word when it comes to people bringing up concerns about spam and such on the BBS which is what I mainly get for PMs these days. That just means I've got some mess to look at. However, it does put a smile on my face whenever some kid is mad at me just for banning him even for a mere day.

Most of the time it's just spam anyway. I doubt there's much worth in the PM system other than to troll other users or whore out shit websites.
It's not the lack of crimes that values your morality but your capacity for contrition.
Usually people (who aren't spammers) that send me messages are people whining about something after we started in a topic, and they got banned or some shit and can't finish the discussion on the bbs...
When the message is from someone I like... or someone replying to one of my pm's...
