Here's my WIP so far, enjoy, hate it, make profit, whatever, eat a sandwich.
Also, BMK, I find his lap rather odd in perspective to his belly. It looks a bit like he is standing up and has a peculiar figure. Maybe bring the knees up a bit to accentuate the sitting?

On your news post ...it would be helpful if you listed who called dibs on which card ...and when... so people can see when particular ones are nearing re-availability (yeah, that's not a word!). Also a link to the completed ones would be cool too... in case a challenger appears (or aren't you allowing challenges?).

I agree with luwano, the thread has brought in high quality artists, im finding some of the WIP's a bit daunting when comparing to my current stages. This will be a great collab!

It's looking good.

Perhaps the colour of the light from the lamp should be a little warmer? Orange or yellow tinted, or something. And perhaps a little less engulfing. The radial is a little too big, and too distracting.

That, and I'm not entirely sure why parts of the ground are purple. That looks a little out of place to me.

That's all I can think of.

Working in short sessions is awful, this is my finished piece, i hope it's ok. i have my problems here and there but honest to god because of the length of time it surprisingly took me i started to get bored. here it is in the PORTAL. Enjoy! :D

I understand that it needs to be a big chunk of darkness in the middle, but the solid black all over is a little meh. Maybe add some texture or some streaks in it or something.
And if it were me, I would make the beard thing a little messier, but it's not me, and I DO like what you have done with it.
