Family guy is still a thing, begrudgingly to most. I remember when the first few seasons ran that people loved to talk about the show in public, and even imitate the characters (quagmire, etc). However, as the years swept by people seemed to have lost interest as a whole. I literally hear nobody talk about it anymore, and when i do, it's all bad stuff.

Did family guy finally get to the point where people don't care about it anymore, and it can FINALLY die without people complaining to fox to bring it back?

I really don't bother myself with Family Guy anymore, mainly because it's outgrown itself and it's last few seasons really haven't impressed me, it just uses a lot of past jokes and relies itself on it's funny moments, which a lot of the latest episodes has seriously lacked.

Unlike the first, second and third seasons, which were very funny throughout the entirety of the episodes.

The Cleveland show in my opinion has shown that Seth Macfarlane still has some good jokes and can make something fresh, sort of. So I guess ultimately it's because Family Guy has just gotten old, aswell as it's jokes.

I remember those days too. When "giggity-goo" made people laugh. Oh, you said a funny character's line? You must be funny!

There are still people out there who'd be pissed if it were canceled. I would gladly throttle them, though, if need be.

It's getting less and less funny so maybe not dead but seriously dying and being pathethic sometimes recently. You can't make a good show just from some crappy ass pop-culture shit.

Eh, it should've ended, the jokes got old. For most things it's better to leave when everyone love you instead of waste away humiliated.

Family Guy has hit the same level after Scary Movie 3 came out. It just sucks now. All the Scary Movies, Date Movie, Epic Movie, and Meet The Spartans are just .... well, pieces of shit. I'm sure there are other movies like those, but really you seen one you seen them all.

i was going to make my own post, but ill just go off of this. i think family guy is dying unfairly, people should et the box sets first because they cut out alot of jokes andits better hearing fuck instead of beep.

There has been a real steady decline of the quality of their episodes and jokes over the last two years.

This is true. At least they're kind of moving away from the flash-back bits, those were really funny but now they're just getting old and repetitive. When a show starts becoming a line of random jokes, with a thin story line, it's time to pull in the towel. I still hold out hope, tho. Some episodes are still funny, imo, tho American Dad is really upping the anti lately. Never seen the Cleveland show, tho i want to.

I never liked "Family Guy" but my brother lover it. I've found all sorts of "Family Guy" stuff in the history of FireFox. It's usually just clips of it on YouTube.

I could probably watch every episode from seasons one and two and not laugh once. Seriously, Family Guy was terrible when it first came out. I think it reached its peak around season five or six, this new season sucks cock.

Sadly no. Whenever I see the number on Adult swim that shit always has the highest numbers. Plus they are still making hew eposides of that shit on fox. Every time I hear someone ask me to turn to that shit on my TV the pic below says it all

It's not as impressive as it's earlier stuff, but it's still a decent watch. Plus it's fanbase is still large and pretty dedicated.

The first seasons sucked, imho.
