Not sure what you mean by imperative, but default server software is fairly crappy compared to hMod. I COULD re-do the entire server without hMod but we would lose all the stuff we have every done and stuff... I think it is best to just wait for the update

We won't be able to play on our sweet server until Christmas Eve. Typwar, find an alternative please. This shouldn't happen every time Minecraft is updated. Well, that's only if the hMod team doesn't finish the build without hey0. So it's good and bad news.
