I like the fact I can manipulate my voice to various levels but I'm iffy on my voice. People say it's whiney and during marching band (HBCU style bands [although I'm in high school] that haze and crap) they say it's not intimidating but I don't care. Plus when we have to chant my voice comes through over the band so I kind of like it.
but hearing your voice when you speak is different than how other people hear you.
I dont mind my voice, I used to not like it but now I dont care, I've learned to accept it either way because i'll be stuck with it for the rest of my life. And it's not that bad.

As everyone here has said, no I don't like my voice, I can't describe but there is just something to it that I hate. Everytime I hear a recording of myself I get really embarrassed.
I actually love my voice when I hear it through my own ears, but I guess nobody else hears it like that.
I don't care too much. It cracks occasionally, but oh well.

Yes. However, when I just say something quikly to someone I know I seem to talk in a much higher voice, and it has become very strange for me.

It's annoying that I have to listen to my voice at work often - We record the phone calls and can listen back to them if need be (usually do to check the details the customers have given us) and it makes my skin crawl to hear myself.

I'm alright with it - I think it sounds pretty British and American (accent-wise, it's a bit of a pot-luck) which draws a lot of attention in a deep-voiced land of Australian Country. I have a horrible singing voice, very monotone when singing anything baritone orchestra in the bathroom, but once again it's not much of a problem.
