Not trolling. I can barely stand playing them.
You, sir, don't know how to distinguish a good RTS from a crappy one.
Not trolling, I'm serious, if you can barely stand playing them you could barely be called an "RTS gamer".
CNC3 and RA3 were really good, but CNC4..not so much.
First of all, the online thingy. What the fuck?
You have to play online to earn your unlocks (and get your ass kicked by those who alraedy do, of course), there is no skirmish mode against the AI, campaign is mediocre, the combat system is completely diferent and not exactly better than that of the other CNC games...so yeah, that should give you an idea.

Nice try, but I'm not buying it.

CNC 3 was good, otherwise your compleatly correct. I just played CNC 4 today for the first time; and it sucked. The graphics were unbearable, the attack bike for instance was way too huge, way too wide. The whole thing with the whole removal of people, was retarded, base building was my favourite thing in the series. In red alert 2, I loved to just make 100000000000s of conscripts and just charge the enemies base, but with unit caps... R.I.P. Command and Conquer
Double fixed
Good RTS's:
Tiberian DawnGenerals, AOM, AOE3, RA2.
Dawn of War 1 & 2
Empire/Napoleon Total War
Red Alert 1
Warcraft 2&3
Age of Empires 2
Company of Heroes
Bad RTS's:
Command and Conquer 3&4
Red Alert 3
You may proceed
