My request was finally put through for Alien Swarm last night, I was downloading at about 153 KB/s, which was really terrible. Once I got it installed, i played a few matches before the combination of my suckish wireless network and Steam's busy servers made it so I couldn't join any games.

Anyway, I certainly love Valve, this new Alien Swarm is really very good. It's quite entertaining too.

The possibility of Valve ever going bankrupt is very rare. Valve is a very small company (They only hire about 125 people) and they have more money than they know what to do with (literally)

BUT, if they ever do go bankrupt, they've said you'll get at least a 1 month warning before they do so you have the time to backup all of your games.
