ok done
cant think of a name but by the pic you can see it gives shelter to travellers in the wastes, though scary it is a gentle giant and related to household spiders

I think you need to push that shading a bit more darken some areas and add more light

COW 82: Shakisha
ok guys here you go

Back Story:
Over 200 years ago, the starving people of Langley and a defeated army plotted to escape the tyranny of their cruel king Lightersus. Sadly the people had no way to escape for in front of them the kings Ivory gates lined with best archers in the land would bring down any one who even came close to the gates, And to their backs the almost as cruel and unforgiving sea.
As the people sorrowed as if a gift from the 7 gods, a creature arose from the sea, both fierce and wild. The Rasha has appeared. The Creature's white shark like scales shimmering in the yellow sun and dark rock like stones covering its back. The people realized that this could be the home they were looking for. But how to tame such a crazed beast they discussed. The Scouts watched the creature thrash about as if in pain. Soon it settled after 3 days and 2 nights and left the bay. The people's hearts sank. Upon investigating the site where the Rasha had been they discovered an egg laid by the creature. They built a fence and to contain the already creature once it hatched.
Upon birth the pitiful thing was 300 meters long and 150 meters wide and given the village elders name Shakisha. From birth it was reared and trained not to dive more than ¾ of its entire body, leaving the mountains exposed at all times to keep from drowning the people within two years the creature was trained and it's back transformed in to a livable habitat for the people and they took off on to the sea to become the famous moving village.

Yea, its bio-mechanical to have a compromiss ;) I thought of a golem-version first but then I thought metal plating would look better and ended up with this.

color isn't really my thing, but i took a stab at it.
storblech: a creature that spends it's adolescence buried under ground,. once it reaches maturity it inflates and takes to the sky often taking a part of what ever city or village had been built on top of it.

The Moobelome

It all began when a plane crashed on this giants back hundreds of years ago. The 25 survivors found that the large beast had fertile ground on its back, allowing them to grow plants and create a civilization. The humans kill the car sized insects crawling on the Moobelome, so it allows them to stay.
