I took a break from NG for a year and I got aids.

I took a 4 year break, and look at me now, I came back.

Life doesn't change because I take breaks, I take breaks because life changes.
I took quite a long break, it sucked and nothing improved.
When I take a break from Newgrounds it's usually to make some time for other on-computer projects, so... aside from getting those projects done, my life in general doesn't change much. Not that I complain, though; I like the way it is :D
Let's see what happens when I get in college next year, though.

I actually am significantly happier when I am not frequently on Newgrounds. I don't know if this is a direct correlation or maybe I just come here when I am depressed?
What I love is that this thread has attracted a couple of NG veterans, I mean, an 03 and 01 sign-up dates? Wow!
Anyway, more on topic, I've never taken an intentional break, but when I first got Facebook, I didn't visit as regularly. Didn't make much of a difference, except that people seemed to start taking the piss because I come here. Funny thing is, when I started posting again, that seemed to slow down.
I've never worked that out.

i once took a two month break from Newgrounds, and i recovered my sanity.
then i logged back and lost it again.
Interest in this place comes and goes with my time and ability to enjoy visiting. That's pretty much the only correlation I've noticed.
I took a year break and got addicted to WoW.

Last time I took a break from this place my grades went up like 4 or 5 %. It could just be a coincidence, but still, pretty nice.
I took like a 6 month break from Newgrounds. It was pretty fucking stupid on my part.

Anyway, I took a break from NG for a mont and it's stupidity and my income increased by 12%

It was somthing I'll remember for a long time though. 2 times. 1st was a month without the internet and 2nd was a holiday. It's hard to take a break from newgrounds.

But yeah I'd say that's 100% for me. I only leave Newgrounds when I got real life stuff to take care of.
Nope. I've always been loyal to NG, and I got a girlfriend and job and other cool stuff has happened since then so yeah. I doubt NG has much to do with it.
