Left my xbox pad and HDD at a friends and my mothers house (quite a distance away and I'm reliant on public transport), can't play on my Xbox until I get those back which sucks. One or the other wouldn't be so bad, I have a 20GB HDD laying around somewhere and I can get an Xbox pad for not too much, but I'd rather just wait it out until I can pop over that way again. Sucks because I'd really like to be trying out the BF4 beta, seeing if I can get in on GTA:O, watching stuff on Netflix (my TV stretches my laptop to 1024*768 and makes all the media too wide), streaming movies from my laptop. Urgh, it sucks that I can't do any of these things now.

I've been using most of my free time on GTA:O (currently rank 34). So achievements are slow going.

I'm in the same boat. I took Rock Band and my HDD to a party and left it in there, not before knocking over the Xbox and fucking up my RB3 disc though, so life is a little slow but thankfully I'm out a lot so I don't have much time to wish I was able to play Xbox anyway.

I just went through and got a bunch of achievements from Skyrim that I'd missed, including one that was stuck due to a glitch, but it looks like Bethesda fixed it in a patch, which is awesome.

Played Forza 3 for a bit, got maybe 100G. Then I remembered why I don't play Forza and stopped playing Forza.

Got back to playing though Mass Effect 2. Must have been a month or two since I last touched it. Already beat it in the past but just finished it without any team members dying. Last time I think I lost one person and missed out on the achievement. Also got the achievement this time for completing with a ME1 imported character. Definitely enjoy this series more than I did the first time I played through the first two games.

I guess now I'll be playing through Mass Effect 3 for the first time. Had it sitting there for a while but never actually played it.

I played Mass Effect 2 once a few years ago after having no experience with Mass Effect before and I didn't enjoy it much, but that was when I was quite narrow minded when it came to gaming and since then I've really wanted to start from the first game and work my way through the trilogy some time, though now I really don't have enough free time for something like that which is a shame. But maybe one day.

Also xbox-wise I still don't have my hard drive so there's nothing for me. I just realised that if the guy treats it badly it could corrupt 5 years worth of gaming and that would quite literally kill me.

I don't think the games are as long as you'd expect them to be. Maybe if you were to go off and do absolutely everything you could find in-game it'd take a while, but to just play through the story and do side activities at a normal pace took me a little over 20 hours per game.

I've just come to appreciate Mass Effect a lot more now that I have more of an interest in sci-fi. It used to be a genre that I wasn't all that into but ever since I decided to watch the original Star Trek series on a whim around this time last year I've not been able to get enough of the genre.

Problem there is that I still don't have a renewed Xbox Live membership. I've been using a trial card so that I could play GTA V online but once that expires I probably wont have access to multiplayer at all.

Still trying to find a job to pay for this sort of stuff. I have a couple job applications out just now but it's tricky for me. The "normal" jobs I've applied for don't even invite me for an interview because I'm overqualified and I can't get a graduate job unless I move to the city or spend around 3 hours travelling each day, neither of which are ideal options right now. I'm just applying to the few local web development jobs that crop up once in a while and recently applied for an IT technician job, even though I don't have any IT technician qualifications or certification. I can't help feel you're better off leaving school at 16 and looking for a job or an apprenticeship.

I've had maybe 3 xbox hard drives die on me over the years. Worst part is having to buy another overpriced piece of shit only to have it die again.

hmm, this is very odd.

I bought an 8GB stick and I found an old broken but working Xbox pad so I can finally do stuff like watch Netflix, I bought The Wolf Among Us, I'd heard it was quite good (some saying better than TWD's first episode) so I didn't even bother with getting the trial, and buying stuff sure is an easier decision to make now that I can actually see exactly how much something is going to cost me.

Played a bit of that, only earnt about 10G so far.

Got 125g from GTA V for solving the Leonora Johnson mystery, getting 100% completion, and finishing all waves on a survival map online. Only single player achievement left to do is the remaining Under the Bridge challenges.

Got out my old HDD and played some GTA Online and got 25G. Man this is fun. Makes me wish I didn't have to work so much.

But for once I'm really treasuring my time spent gaming seeing as there's so little of it now, makes it much more enjoyable.

Am I the only one who doesn't see all the hype GTA5 is getting?
People calling it the best GTA yet but it just doesn't top San Andreas for me.
