That probably would have been more satisfying. Then again, so would beating the game legitimately you cheating bastard. LA Noire wasn't even difficult man, and if you messed up you could just reload the last checkpoint. Although I think I did have to use a walkthrough at one point when I couldn't seem to get 5 stars on one case no matter what. You may as well try to max it out, t took me just a little under 50 hours to get 1400/1400 and that was without using a guide except for the vehicles and a couple of those reels (thank god for the map on Rockstar's website). You could easily do it in under 30 hours.

I maxed out Skyrim a few weeks ago and haven't played anything since. Feels bad, but at least Christmas is just over a week away. Hopefully I'll get some games then.

The map on rockstar social gives you the locations and conveniently tracks your progress, effectively defeating the purpose of collectables in the first place and making them even more pointless. You could easily do it in about 30 minutes if you use the map from the start. But whatever, if performing a mundane task to increase a meaningless number isn't your thing then that's cool. You should consider getting the DLC though, or at least Nicholson's Electroplating. Definitely the most memorable case in the game for me.

I would, but the game isn't mine, so I don't really feel like buying DLC for it. Even if I were to only play through it the once. Plus, I'm skint. I'm currently having to play my brothers games because I can't afford to buy any new ones for myself :(

BF3 and gamerscore will be lacking this weekend, I'm in the Gotham City Importers and it's hella fun. Eurogamer is giving out 30,000 codes. I'd highly recommend checking it out. Day 1 purchase

Cheers for the heads up, looks pretty damn fun.

Borrowed Metro 2033 from a friend in an attempt to finish it. It's a pity im stuck, presumably, near the end of the game with those shitty amoeba enemies and the terrible AI partner. Tried restarting checkpoint and even the entire level but every time I have around 6 bullets, 1 health pack and a broken gas mask making the level impossible.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck this game.

Now that I've 5 starred all the cases on LA Noire I might call it quits. Still had a couple street crimes to do but they're not showing up on the free roam map. Pretty close to getting an achievement for distance driven though, so might go for that one if I can be bothered.

Not too sure what to play now. Might finally try to do the BF3 campaign.

I take that back. My Xbox crashed 3 times in a row after hitting the resume game button. How annoying.

The first time, everybody fails to realise that you CANNOT win by shooting the amoebas.
You instead, have to shoot the things that they spawn from.

Got 6 bullets so that should be fun....
It seems to take the shitty pistol around 2-3 bullets to shoot the pod things as well.

Got 40g from Skyrim for discovering 100 places.

Finished RAAM's DLC in 4 player co-op. Eh, It was alright. 65g

Got 30G from Gears 3 for finishing off the collectibles, about 105G from Skyrim for several different things and 60G from Battlefield 3 for finishing second and third in a game (already have first). It's nice to be home since I have a large chance to play on the Xbox insted of when I find time and I am not on mic to anyone.

Looking at getting 100,000 before the next update but I doubt that will happen unless I play Batman and just charge through the story.

Well, I'm definitely not gaming as much as I thought I would be over the holidays. I still have Deus Ex and Arkham City to unwrap at Christmas, so they should liven things up a bit. Quite excited to play both.

I've only got 14 hours on BF3 yet I only need 4 more Ribbons, the one for Motion Sensor Assists which I don't know how to get (help please), Transport Vehicle Kills, Emplacement Weapon Kills and M-COM Defender, which I also don't really know how to get.

At some point I need someone to help me get the Co-Op achievements. I have the first 2 mission's achievements, but the others seem to require teamwork which is hard to get when you can't communicate with your partner. Especially the stealthy one(s).

Anyway, back to multiplayer.

Uh oh, well I haven't tried that yet but I'll do my best.

I've been very quiet recently, had a shitload of things going on so not much gaming time at all. And the 30 minutes or so I've been managing every day on GTA4 hasn't been giving me any achievements until a day or two ago. I realised that I'll easily beat the campaign in under 30 hours at the rate I'm going, orobably more like 20 hours, so I took some time working on some other achievements.

My gaming should pick up after Christmas because I'll be buying an Xbox and getting a WP7 so there should be a lot more achievements to come.

did you pick up each missions individual achievements? What about hard difficulty?

I did it on hard, but as for some of the achievements I'll have to play through the levels on an easier difficulty. It would take me far too long trying to get them on hard.
