I'd like to thank tally for keeping mine updated despite my absence from ever posting on this thread haha.

Just finished inFamous and now I can replay it as an evil character and await the second game.

I have 52 or so trophies now.

I got it. Most people I know like it, but personally, I think it's overrated and boring. I prefer Resistance 1.

I do.

I think it's really good. The single player was fun and memorable and (this is just my opinion) I can't think of a single thing wrong with the multiplayer.

Don't really see what you mean here. I liked him more than I did in 1 because he talked more than 3 times.

Unless saving humanity from extinction then blowing aliens up with what is essentially a superpower (won't say what because of spoilers) means you're a stupid cunt, I thought he was cool.

Resistance 2's characters were all douchebags. Narrative went from pretty decent in the first game to crippling the experience in the second. Level design was inferior as well.

Actually, I just want to know if MAG is better than Killzone 2.

I can easily get most/all of the Uncharted 2 trophies from renting it, but it looks like I couldn't with MAG or Killzone. I also want a good multiplayer experience, so which is better? Anyooone?

KZ2. You might hate the weighted guns though.

MAG requires teamwork, you can't run and gun.

Uncharted 2 is amazing, get it. Multiplayer isn't very lively though.

Gah, I have to buy a new game. I'd go for Rock Band: Green Day. I'd unlock those trophies in a second.

Got Godfather 2. I'm muddling through it and the executions are cool but it's pretty rough around the edges. I still have a bunch of games that are unfinished, no more buying until I get straight :(

Damn it, this is genuinely hard to answer.

Uncharted 2 is a great game, both in single player and multiplayer. Same with Killzone 2. MAG, obviously, doesn't have a story mode.

When playing online, MAG and Killzone 2 feel very similar to me for some reason. I think that, MAG, though, requires much more teamwork. Killzone 2 needs some too because of the different classes and stuff. Uncharted 2 doesn't need much, so if run and gun is your style of play, I think you'd enjoy it more.

You should know that, if you get it, MAG is just plain cruel to new players sometimes. You in your little Medium Composite armour with a Tier 1 rifle against a guy in his heavy armour with a Tier 2 machine gun with a reflex sight and grip. Who sounds more likely to win? Once you start to progress through the ranks, though, you can buy better stuff and arguably have much more fun than you will at the start.

Killzone 2's story mode, while still good at the start, does get better as it goes on. Its multiplayer holds some fond memories for me and was a great ride while it lasted. You should be aware of the fact that it takes a lot of bullets to kill someone, both online and offline.

Uncharted 2 is a game that I can play over and over without getting bored. It has an easy to use cover and melee system, and the gunplay is fun in its own right. I thought the story itself was really good, as well as the actual story mode. Its multiplayer is simple still easy to play if you're new to the game.

Overall, however, I'd pick MAG. It holds over 105 hours of playtime for me and it's still increasing.

Well I'm leaving in about 5 minutes. I think I'll get MAG if it's a game that holds a lot of hours. I usually rent games so I guess this isn't really a game to rent. Problem is that it's still new game price, and I only have $30 + whatever I get for these 3 movies, 1 CD, and Ratchet and Clank. Good luck to me.

Ended up getting Killzone 2 with a controller for the price of a controller alone. I got a silver controller when I could have gotten a red controller with Resistance 2, but I'm renting that right now anyway. Kind of sad about that ... :(

Killzone 2 has some pretty badass online multiplayer. Would like to play it with some Newgrounders soon, but I want to get a headset. Just got 49 kills and did the best in a game.

haven't played killzone in about a year but I'm down for that. Got the top 1% on the first day lol multiplayer glitched to only account for one day.

Complete Killzone 2 on Rookie in just 4 hours and 49 minutes. Pretty short game, but I suppose I have to play through it again on Elite and the multiplayer's good.

The level right before you get to Radec is impossible on Elite. At least for me it is, and I could probably play with you online sometime. Unfortunately I'm not very good, but at least I got a headset.

I always play medic anyways.
